We found the food at the Moorcock, Littleborough to be excellent. Fresh and tasty and decent portions. Service was friendly and efficient. The outdoor terrace has lots of space a great views over the valley. Well kept real ales give the bar a nice edge too.

A very warm and genuine welcome from Pauline, Alan and all the staff (Lorna, Lucy and Hannah) is always guaranteed, as is wonderful hearty and tasty food prepared by chefs Mark and Luke and served by bubbly Sharon. I've been staying here on and off for several weeks due to working in the area and have been consistently impressed with... More

We have been coming to The Moorcock Inn for a number of years (but not on a regular basis) the food hasn't ever disappointed. The staff are always friendly and attentive. For this visit myself, partner and 2 kids had main courses and desserts and a coke of drinks each. Everything was spot on and we ate in a friendly... More

We hadn't been to the Moorcock for food for a while as the previous chef had let standards slip in our view. There is always a good beer selection which hubbie likes and we were also pleased to see that the food has improved dramatically since our last visit. We also didn't not feel rushed like other restaurants. Will definitely... More

Am a regular for a drink and enjoy the company, service, general ambience and outstanding views very much. Also ate there on a few occasions recently and was very pleased with the quality and presentation. The English Tapas was particularly good. The new Chef is to be commended.

It has been over a decade since my last meal here (my mistake!), but the food and service were better than ever! Good, wholesome food, beautifully presented by superb waitresses. Genuinely, I had experienced a hellish week at work which was utterly offset by my meal. Go there now!!!

Ate at the Moorcock last night two starters (Pate and Garlic Mushrooms). Two mains( Chicken Balti & Pan fried Sea Bass Thai Green Curry). The food was lovely and there was more than enough on the plate. A great venue and reasonably priced drinks to add. Very Very Good !
