Eat here a lot. The food and drinks are reasonably priced. The change from the night club to the Country Inn is a credit to the owners Alan & Pauline. Staff polite and helpful. The best location in Littleborough to have a quiet drink and a place to eat, if you would rather be away from the busy hussle and... More

This was, not for the first time, a Sunday lunch with our young grandchildren. We were well received for our booked table. The menu is reasonably comprehensive and prices not high. We find the place very child friendly. There is a good range of drinks at affordable prices. We will go again when visiting our family.

Ate here in summer and have to say......... haven't been back. Wasn't impressed, thought the food was very bland. Decent sized room and outdoor space. Not really much more to say about this place except the staff were lovely.

We are local so no need to stay over night. We dine often for lunch which is always enjoyable. Great 2 course special . Homemade soup regardless of what it is , is always great and every flavour seems to be the best soup Ive tasted! Homemade mice and onion pie with hand cut chips is my Favourite but other... More

As a group of 5 male walkers we visited on the 11th May 2013 as a stopover on the Pennine Way. We had been contacted a few days before arrival to say due to a room flooding we would have to include a double bed in our accomodation for 5 males, not ideal a few days ahead of a long... More

Took our Texan friend after a nice afternoon in Hebden bridge, asked for a window at the back overlooking the fields and got told NO by unfriendly server, and placed on table looking at the car park, despite the place being empty. Steak pie dry with over cooked chips and peas (plenty of tinned meat though), and no extra gravy.... More

My husband and I have visited the Moorcock several times when we have been walking on the Pennines. The food has always been excellent (my favourite is the cheese and onion pie) and my husband always likes to try a pint of the different ales. We have always found food and service good and the jewel in the crown is... More

Went Saturday evening for my husbands birthday, it was quite empty when we got there. The food came quite quick but was bland the potatoes were just full of lumps, they forgot the onion rings and brought them when my brother in law had eaten his steak. I found the whole experience quite unexceptable really. The staff looked unfriendly and... More
