I just loved our stay here. It is a small chateau and the owner's family has been there for centuries. The room is very romantic in its old style. Breakfast is good with fresh and local products. The garden in large and there are plenty animals in it. I think it could be nice for kids too.

An old Manoir (an old Manor House) that has been lovingly and faithfully restored and the work is being continued by a descendant of the original owners. Set in sweeping fields not far from a the city of Albi and motorway to Toulouse. Guests have the use of a common well equipped kitchen and are encouraged to make use of... More

I went there over a weekend with a friend. The idea was to be in a beautiful location nearby Albi but not stay in the city. The location is amazing and exactly what we looked for. Quiet. Great rooms, swimming pool. Breakfast is nice too. Our host was very welcoming and attentive to our needs. The great thing is that... More

Domaine du Buc is a marvelous estate home and bed and breakfast about half way between Albi and Gaillac, and a perfect launching point to see the high points in the Tarn region. Up a half kilometer gravel drive is a brick and stone manor house, which has been added on to for 400 years. The home opens onto a... More

We stayed here for two nights in October 2013 and never got round to writing the review. We visit France a lot, staying in similar priced bbs and we felt it only fair to give Domaine du Buc the credit it deserves. Brigitte was the perfect host making us feel welcome from the start. We were given afternoon tea on... More

We arrived much later than expected but were still very warmly welcomed. The property is sympathetically restored and rooms are large, very clean and comfortable. The gardens invite you to spend plenty of time in the shade of trees with the company of good books. Quite the place to return to after spending a day exploring the southern Dordogne /... More

Domaine du Buc is an old mansion, rooms are large, breakfast is good but the entrance to the house through the tower door is dangerous at night since it is not well-lit and steps plus the stored woods for the fireplace create a trap. I do not think it deserves the 110 euro/night.

Dear Guest, Thank you for taking time to write a review on Tripadvisor, after your stay in Domaine du Buc . Regarding your comment for the light at the entrance through the tower by night , I agree with you . I have to add another light ..so it will be more confortable to get in the house. Regarding the... I booked here as part of a smart box gift , accommodation and wine tasting. The accommodation we could not fault, Brigitte was extremely helpful when booking, and the breakfast was traditional French croissants bread etc. The availability of terraces where one can sit and relax, the kitchen which had everything you could need, the cosy lounge in the evening.... We stayed last night. Booked directly with Brigitte, the owner/manager. Charming house. Comfortable rooms. Wonderful breakfast. We'd traveled all over the world for decades. We'd go back there in a second. While out walking at night, we met a woman looking for a hotel, and we suggested she try the Domaine du Buc and she loved it too.
