The location is simply stunning - very peaceful. Lovely grounds which includes planted vines, a beautiful garden around the house and some huge gum trees. Lots of wildlife too. We Recommend getting up early for the light- beautiful for pictures. Suzy and Peter were kind enough to let us get married here- very special occasion and they looked after us... More

We had a relaxing and stress free 3 nights at Auberge de la Rose cottage. Peter and Suzie are extremely friendly hosts and are happy to help you, to ensure you can maximise your time in Redesdale. The cottage has a welcoming and homely feel with quality furnishings and everything you could need to escape the stress of the city,... More

My wife and I stayed at Redesdale Estate for a couple of days after our wedding. With all the chaos leading up to the big day, it was a welcome change to be able to relax and do nothing - something that Redesdale is perfect for. The cottage is exactly that, a cottage. It isn't a mansion but it has... More

From the moment we arrived, Suzi and Peter treated us like very special guests. The two-storey accommodation was lovely and warm on a bitterly cold night, and as Suzi showed us around, I kept thinking, "they have not forgotten a thing". She had even made jam and marmalade that day and left some jars for our breakfast. The next morning... More

Wow! The Auberge de la Rose cottage was like a home away from home. A quaint two storey cottage with all your provisions catered for. Very secluded and private, perfect for a romantic getaway. Peter and Suzy were very gracious hosts and made us feel very welcome. We would definitely recommend staying at the Redesdale Estate if you are planning... More

My wife and I stayed here for our wedding anniversary. Peter and Suzy are wonderful hosts, nothing was too much trouble - we felt like friends rather than guests. The accommodation is quite simple, but roomy, comfortable, clean and inviting. Great shower too. The location is quiet and secluded, but historical towns, wineries and scenic locations are all within a... More

IT sleeps two maybe 4 (call/email ahead) the hosts are amazingly welcoming people and the cottage is perfect for a romantic get away and as a base to explore the heathcote wine region.
