Stayed here recently to celebrate a friend's birthday. Very friendly old English pub with excellent rooms. Clean and quirky- we stayed in room 7 - it was fun. Very child friendly and food was excellent both at party and breakfast the next day. Recommend completely.

First impressions were a quaint old pub with a very welcoming restaurant but on booking in the hotel they said they had no record of our booking. On presenting our confirmation they blamed Late Rooms for changing their process and sending an email instead of a fax! They then said not to worry that they did have a room but... More

Stayed for 2 nights in room 5 and can only say it was very nice. Easygoing friendly staff. And yes, the building 'talks', like most old buildings do. Personally I like it. Wifi-connection was perfect. Breakfast was very nice. Got stuck in traffic, so unfortunately couldn't try dinner. Maybe next time!

Booked this Inn as was visiting friends in Whitstable and the P.Inn chain we'd normally use was fully booked due to there being a Harbour Festival so we looked further afield and came across the White Horse set a few miles away in the charming village of Boughton-under-Blean. We arrived just before 9pm, booked in and declined the offer of... More

On a quiet village street. Comfortable but needs a lick of paint. Our room had an audible air conditioning unit outside the window and a temperamental electric shower. But otherwise fine. Very friendly staff and delicious breakfasts. WiFi worked throughout. Very reasonable price for a two night stay.

For what a room costs per night I was expecting far more than this. The rooms are small and in desperate need for refer bushmeat let alone a clean. Bed linen had dirty marks on it. Worse is that it is attached to a pub and while great that those who had too much stayed the night rather than driving,... More

Booked the Inn at the last moment before checking Trip Advisor. Four of stayed during the Whitstable Oyster Festival. Let's do the good first. Fantastic location, absolutely lovely village with friendly villagers. Nice pub with garden and with friendly staff. Clean bed linen. Breakfast was very good. Now the bad, I was told it would be £140 for two rooms... More

I was impressed with the twin room I shared with my pal, couldn't fault room or bathroom, staff friendly and helpful and the restaurant food was very good. Lovely gardens to sit in too. We came for the Whitstable Oyster Festival and a two night stay ,but wanted to stay a few miles away from the actual venue and explore... More

Having booked a room for the three of us for Saturday 26th, I received a phone call at 22h00 (just leaving Canterbury theatre), saying that my credit card was refused and I would lose the room. I was told that they were looking to contact me all day although no missed calls showed throughout the day... In giving the hotel... More

This Inn is perfectly located for travel around Kent. The food is absolutely delicious, we had two nights here, four of us on the first night and us two for the second night. So we sampled six separate meals overall, all of a very high standard and scrumptious. The service was excellent and friendly. There is a large car park... More
