The White Horse is a quaint pub that offers accomadation that is well positioned for visiting several of the major towns in Kent . The city of Canterbury , and the towns of Faversham and Whistable are easily accessible from the village of Boughton under Blean. The accomadation is basic, but was clean and cozy. The staff were friendly ,welcoming ,and... More

We stayed at the white horse whilst visiting family in Kent,it's such a stunning place with fantastic food and great ales. There was a warm welcome on arrival and a great atmosphere. We loved it so much we stayed another night.

Our team visited the White Lion for Lunch. The Menu is large with bar snacks, Specials and Al la carte. It was with some difficulty in choosing which scrummy meal to consume but somehow we managed. The food was excellent. Service also depsite only one waitress on Bar duty also. The only problem we had was with the enthusiastic decorator... More

Pretty average, perfectly comfortable, clean and no complaints accommodation-wise, but extremely over-priced. Over £7 for two croissants and a coffee at breakfast, and the room rates are more like a hotel than a B&B. It's not actually a B&B, as breakfast is charged extra. Just too expensive for what it was. WiFi was very weak with an intermittent connection.

We enjoyed our stay in The White horse and. Found room two in the back of the hotel to be comfortable and clean. We had a separate entrance to the main pub so that is good. The bathroom is adequate but I am not a fan of wet rooms, but that is just me. We ate in the hotel in... More

Just sitting eating tea in the restaurant and had to write this review. This is def. not our normal sort of accommodation as we are quite snobbish and think we're a bit middle class despite both being very working class. HOWEVER the Whitehouse is a really lovely place. Let me start. Great parking Lovely room (basic, large, clean, and everything... More

We had to book very last minute & I was delighted with our stay. Lovely welcome, quaint & quirky 600yr old coaching inn & delightful 'apartment' room in the eaves. Lots of hot water & we slept like a dream (!) Fantastic restaurant - VERY good food reasonably priced. What's not to like? Will definitely return & highly recommend this... More

Sunday lunch with family. Lots of choice on menu plus a specials board. Lovely pub, good atmosphere, friendly and helpful staff, great food at reasonable prices. Will definitely return. Worth a visit.

This 14th(?) century Inn has a lot of character but if you wish 21st century facilities then look elsewhere. My wife knocked her head three times going from the bedroom to the en-suite because of the low beams, the lighting was poor, particularly to read in bed, and the sound insulation poor as we could hear what was going on... Great welcome on a late check inn, lovely welcome at breakfast and good choice. I didn't eat in the evening but after seeing the quirky menu really wished I had ! Room 8 was what I expected sweaky floorboards and unlevel old fashioned cherished elegance, comfortable bed and more than adequate ensuite. Great beer garden to the rear. Large car... More
