Spent the night here as were visiting family up the road. Didn't spend any time in the room other than sleep and didn't eat here so can't comment about that. The room was ok, bit overpriced in our opinion for what it was. The decor is a bit dated and a bit tatty, there was an iron in the room,... More

Fantastic. cosy friendly and clean. lovely meal of Red Snapper. Staff friendly and helpful. The room was a good size, bed comfortable dual view. Carpark huge. Only criticism is the rooms could do with upgrading or a lick of paint. Very dated and tired. Please can we have peppermint tea in the room.

Just spent 1 night here as a treat for my husbands birthday. Firstly, the food was amazing, good choice of menu & a beautiful meal. The bar is cozy & the staff were lovely throughout our stay. The owners were away so the girls were busy but did a good job. My negative (sadly) was our room, room 3. I booked... More

Historic building with plenty of parking. Restaurant very good with excellent food but very average service. Room was very small & very dark with tatty mis-matched furniture & the smallest shower I've ever been in. For the price it was a little disappointing. Although well placed to visit the Kent towns both coastal & inland, the Inn is in a... More

Room was much smaller than what we had previously stayed in in other hotels. It was well kept and decorated nicely. However as we had a joining room ( great for families but not good for couples) we could hear everything going on next door. Breakfast was included at an extra cost which we did not have

The service and food has gone downhill since we last went to this restaurant. We visited for lunch for 5 people on a Saturday after booking in advance. Considering the place was very quiet we were very unhappy that a two course meal took them over 2.5 hours to serve. The sticky toffee pudding was so hard that it was... More

This is a lovely building and has a great ambience let down only by the staff which is a shame as there really is no excuse for bad service other than poor management. Been here several times and the food has always been great quality and great value. The waitress service has gone downhill steadily with each visit. At best... More

The White Horse is a quaint pub that offers accomadation that is well positioned for visiting several of the major towns in Kent . The city of Canterbury , and the towns of Faversham and Whistable are easily accessible from the village of Boughton under Blean. The accomadation is basic, but was clean and cozy. The staff were friendly ,welcoming ,and... More

We stayed at the white horse whilst visiting family in Kent,it's such a stunning place with fantastic food and great ales. There was a warm welcome on arrival and a great atmosphere. We loved it so much we stayed another night.

Our team visited the White Lion for Lunch. The Menu is large with bar snacks, Specials and Al la carte. It was with some difficulty in choosing which scrummy meal to consume but somehow we managed. The food was excellent. Service also depsite only one waitress on Bar duty also. The only problem we had was with the enthusiastic decorator... More
