Lovely, quiet and friendly holiday park. Nice clubhouse, hot showers and overall great facilities. There's a lovely beach at the bottom of the lane where the park is situated, which is owned by The National Trust (£4/day) Bude is nothing spectatctular really but OK to while away an evening eating. Lots of nice pubs around and also other hidden beaches... More

Just had a really lovely stay. As previous reviews have said, the place is spotless, the staff very helpful and the food is excellent. The pirate ship play area was a massive hit with our kids. They made new friends and spent hours playing. We've stayed at lots of parks over the years, but overall this has been the best... More

We've always gone to one of the chain holiday parks, Haven/Park resorts/parkdean, but I have to say that what we experienced in Sandymouth completely blew us away. The park is tidy, clean and gorgeous. The staff look like they actually like their jobs and the caravan was spotless. It was cleaner than my house and that's saying a lot. We... More

We have just returned from a weeks holiday here and we have had a brilliant holiday. The park itself is based in a fab location with amazing views. Really handy base to explore from. Bude is 10 min drive away and is a lovely little town. We also visited bideford, padstow and boscastle, all within a 45 min drive. The... More

Just coming to the end of a weeks stay, it's been enjoyable but I'm not sure we'd come back. I booked on the phone with hoseasons and specifically chose the caravan we'd like, we're in the right type but sadly not the one I picked for some reason?! We stayed in a royal fortune which has amazing sea views but... More

We just returned home from an enjoyable week at Sandymouth Bay. This was our first visit and we stayed in a lodge with 2 small children. I couldn't find much about the lodges in reviews so worth making a few observations for others; Good points - * Site is well kept and play areas are very clean. There is a... More

Found it to be a small caravan park, but it was clean and quite. Entertainment was not on par with the bigger sites, but you could get a seat and enjoy a reasonably priced drink with fun entertainment. Ate in the reastuarant on the last night, and the food was lovely wish we'd eaten there earlier. Pool was a little... More
