We just got back from a truly great week at Sandymouth. Our caravan was spacious and accommodated the 4 adults and 3 small kids with ease, it was also very clean and tidy on arrival. The site itself is stunning with gorgeous views of the sea and is generally very well kept. Our holiday was made amazing by the entertainment... More

Myself and my husband stayed with our 2 children (aged 3 and 6) for a week in August. The location is great, the coastline is rugged and dramatic and there is loads to do in the area. I haven’t stayed in a caravan since I was a child in the eighties so I was REALLY impressed with the accommodation (Ark... More

We stayed at Sandymouth for the second time in August 2014. We loved it the first time and were worried that it could not be as good on a second visit but we needn't have worried it was just as good the second time round. Sandymouth is a lovely small family friendly holiday park. In our experience the caravans are... More

After a long drive from Norfolk it was a real pleasure to arrive at a clean, tidy and very well presented holiday park. The staff in reception were extremely polite and courteous and couldn't have been more helpful. The caravan was clean and the view of the sea was superb from the main window, there are picnic tables outside every... More

Just returned after a weeks stay at Sandymouth Bay. We chose the park after reading many good reviews. Our week started badly after a 9 hours drive, but the manager was very helpful. After such a long journey, we decided to eat in the bar. The meals we received were AWFUL! I ordered a chicken korma, it was smaller than... More

This was the second time we have stopped here 2013 the caravan was lovely and clean but this year the caravan was grubby it smelt of sick with large stain in main bedroom if it wasn't for the fact that the site was quiet and had a good club house I think I would of not stopped have decieded not... Lovely, quiet and friendly holiday park. Nice clubhouse, hot showers and overall great facilities. There's a lovely beach at the bottom of the lane where the park is situated, which is owned by The National Trust (£4/day) Bude is nothing spectatctular really but OK to while away an evening eating. Lots of nice pubs around and also other hidden beaches... More

Just had a really lovely stay. As previous reviews have said, the place is spotless, the staff very helpful and the food is excellent. The pirate ship play area was a massive hit with our kids. They made new friends and spent hours playing. We've stayed at lots of parks over the years, but overall this has been the best... More

We've always gone to one of the chain holiday parks, Haven/Park resorts/parkdean, but I have to say that what we experienced in Sandymouth completely blew us away. The park is tidy, clean and gorgeous. The staff look like they actually like their jobs and the caravan was spotless. It was cleaner than my house and that's saying a lot. We... More

We have just returned from a weeks holiday here and we have had a brilliant holiday. The park itself is based in a fab location with amazing views. Really handy base to explore from. Bude is 10 min drive away and is a lovely little town. We also visited bideford, padstow and boscastle, all within a 45 min drive. The... More
