Stayed here two nights as part of a Collette Tour. Wifi only in reception and if it's raining, the wifi usually goes down. A/C, in room safe. Bed and pillows very comfortable. Breakfast, lunch and dinner - buffet. Food was very good. Lots of birds and monkeys on the property.

The grounds are absolutely beautiful. There is lush greenery, birds, butterflies and the rare howler monkey calling out at night. Every night I was lulled to sleep by the sounds of nature. The food was tasty . There was a buffet with a fairly good spread. The rooms were adequate- nothing fancy. The rooms have a porch with a rocking chair... More

The rooms here look like a giant thatched hut with the back of the rooms opening out onto a small patio and the main front doors all pointed into the middle of the large main round structure. The restaurant has the same thatched high ceiling roof and the gardens are well kept. Rooms are comfortable and have a safe deposit... More

We stayed here for two nights as part of a tour. The bungalows were very spacious and the showers were hot. We had a covered patio with a hammock and a couple of loungers - it was still very pleasant to sit out when it rained. The walks around the grounds were lovely and any member of staff would help... If you're here for the nature this is a great place to stay. Comfortable rooms set in grounds that are full of interest. A great location to visit La Selva and there are other (water based) activities in the area. We spent 2 nights here and aside from La Selva, spent the rest of the time recharging our batteries. Not... More

I enjoyed roaming the grounds, watching the birds at the feeders, and listening to the wildlife. While others in my group had fun rafting and zip lining, I chose to stay by the pool. Because there are so many activities for others, but pool area was almost empty and I spent a lovely, peaceful afternoon there. I couldn't remember the... More

My husband and I and several of our neighbors had a wonderful two nights in this hotel. There were a lot of things to do at the hotel. The best was the bird feeding tree with macaws ,parrots, Tangiers and many colored birds coming to feast every morning. The grounds have a walking path through the jungle and past the... More

This hotel has very nice grounds with lots of birds. It's peaceful. You'll wake to the rising sun, bird calls and the occasional howler monkey. There are dart frogs to seek out and a lovely leaf-cutter ant colony. The rooms are not fancy but they are comfortable. A/C worked fine. Plenty of hot and cold water. Free wifi in the... More

We stayed for two nights at this Country Inn and enjoyed every minute of our stay. The family run establishment is trying it's best to run the place on an ecologically friendly basis, and are succeeding. Food is plentiful and tasty. The rooms are basic but clean and comfortable. For the two of us, we had two double and two... More

Because the owners present there lodge as an eco lodge with a certification for sustainable tourism on the highest level, I noticed one thing that's not according to this standard. All busses that brings tourgroups to there lodge are allowed to drive almost into the reception area of the lodge and keep there engins running for 10 untill 30 minutes.... More
