El Anadio is a farm, breeding the famous fighting Spanish bulls. Since we didn't want to watch a bull fight, we decided to do the next best thing, that is to go the source of these bulls. And we were not disappointed. The farm stay was perfect, very nice and cool rooms, good food and excellent service. The language difference... More

A very rural but beautiful hotel where they raise bulls for local festivities and bullfights! The hotel is rustic but elegant with a very nice pool, amid sweeping views of rolling hills dotted with olive groves. The meals are very nice, if just a bit pricey, but the service is great! The "toros" are right outside your window but safely... More

My husband and I needed a break. This place did it for us. We spent 4 nights there and left, relaxed, elated and with only one wish: to return. We arrived at 5pm in the boiling andalucian heat. The owner, Maria, welcomed us, showed us around the canaderia and then told us that something special was happening there that day.... More

We stayed here for one night to break up a journey. It's completely off the beaten track, about 7km down a dirt track, but you can do this in a normal car and it's 100% worth the bumpy and dusty ride! The room was lovely and the food was good, although no choice of menu, so let them know if... More

We were looking for something in the middle of nowhere and, boy, did we find it! This cañaderia is as far from civilization as you can get in Spain (although the dirt road to get there is not as bad as described in some other reviews and the indications are clear). Located on the top of the hill, this place... More

This wonderful hotel is situated off the beaten path down a 1500 y.o. Roman road where the bulls are bred to fight in the corrida (bull fight). Maria Jesus is your hostess. We arrived for lunch and were seved the most wonderful meal typica Spanish fair. The food for the rest of our stay was excellent and maintaining the "home... More

Stayed here in May 2012 with our large dog; booked with the owner directly by e-mail; arrived by car; stayed one night (enjoyed a simple but delicious dinner and a very good breakfast). This is an active bull-breeding farm with incredible views over the countryside, not easy to find and reached via a long, bumpy access road. The owner is... More

Off the beaten path about 10 km up a dirt road from Vilches which is itself off the highway between Madrid and Granada. Well marked if you can find the turnoff. Definitely print out the directions she sends from Vilches. Once you have arrived you are in Spanish ranch country. Sra. Maria Jesus is one of several bull farms where... More

My words cannot possibly do this remarkable ranch justice. Everything....I repeat, everything was perfect. This ranch which can accommodate as many as 22 guests (all arriving on the day we left...fin de la semana).....was ours and ours alone. Except the company of Ramona, the housekeeper and cook, the companeros Miguel and Antonio, the owner Maria who was away for the... More

We decided to stay here as a pit stop between Granada and Madrid. To say the least, you will be with nature during your stay here. This is a wonderful alternative to a regular B&B. The drive to the ranch was a bit rough, but once we got there we forgot all about it. Relaxing by the pool looking over... More
