Spent 5 days at Hotel du Pillon for a work team retreat. Combined skiing and seminar / work shops. It was perfect for us to "own" the place for a few days. Easy, however a little bit time consuming to get there from Geneva Airport with fast train to Aigle and then local train to Les Diablerets. The owner of... More

Stayed 4 nights at this cozy hotel. Enjoyed the fantastic mountainview , homely bohemic decorated hotel, service delivered by Francis. Sociable hotel cat added to the feeling of coming home. Nice food ranging from italian to typical Swiss food. Fantastic Gruyere cheece for breakfast including tasty youghurt. Nice rooms and beds, balconys. Dont miss the discoshower!

This served as a very comfortable base for a week of guided off-piste skiing. Peaceful location with great mountain views. Spacious, comfortable, well appointed rooms with free Wi-Fi. Cozy log fire, and interesting objects d'art. Traditional Swiss mountain food (so a lot of cheese!). Francis was very obliging with any requests or queries.

This was my fifth time staying at this hotel. Francis, the owner, really makes you feel at home. Between the staff and the other visitors, I always meet people who are interesting and friendly (even though my French is very poor). There is a new resident cat in the hotel, who is delightful. Also, I was travelling with my dog... More

From the entrance, it is possible to see a few chairs surrounding a firework, inviting the visitor to sit, relax and chat with a good glass of wine. Rooms are extremely comfortable and nice, all characterised by wooden furnitures; breakfast features tons of good local food, from yogurt to cheese; lunch/dinner & wine list definitely match expectations. Francis is welcoming... More

The hotel is outside Les Diablerets which is in itself within walking distance. The front is near the busy acces road making the relais du silence a little challenged. But rooms on the back are very quiet but they miss the view on the distant mountains. The rooms are very basic and small. Shower is a cubicle in the room... More

My wife and I loved this hotel. It is comfortably modern without sacrificing the charms of Switzerland. Warm and cozy....like home. The hotel staff and the proprietor were very friendly. The food was excellent in the hotel restaurant....the best restaurant in Les Diabalets.

Quite intentionally The hotel feels like a large private house which strongly reflects the eclectic tastes of the owner. When you arrive there is no reception just a large, informal living area busily hung with paintings and stags heads. You share the space with owner the other guests and the art which continues throughout the hotel. Rooms have great views... More

My teenagers were v impressed by the hotel when we arrived at night in the snow. Charming building, beautifully furnished and decorated with slightly shabby chic theme. The owner is an artist and it shows. Commnal areas were comfortable. Good drying facilities. Bedrooms were a good size though i would have welcomed a bath rather than shower. Breakfast and indeed...
