A lovely place to have breakfast. My friends treated me to a birthday breakfast and the owner was so accommodating. The food was delicious and very reasonable. We needed more space and the owner gladly rearranged our tables. We plan on trying dinner here. Nothing fancy but worth trying it our for yourself.

In the word of our Host: "Parfait!" (Perfect! Perfecto!) Arrived late on a Sunday night - No problem. (Note: if you like a cold beer after many hours on the road, you'll need to bring it yourself.) Instead our Host, Gerald prepared a magnificent cappuccino which got rid of the travel-dryness. Housekeeping is A-1. Very clean and well maintained. Breakfast... More

We just stayed there for 2 nights, while dropping our sons at the Stanstead College in Quebec. Gerald the owner and chef is super friendly and accommodating. The place is simple but clean and practical. The prices are more than reasonable. I chose this place due to reviews on the food, and let me tell you that they are very... More

We stayed at this Bed & Breakfast hotel for one night when visiting our son who attended Stanstead College Language Adventure Summer Camp. The house is cosy, rooms are OK. Our best impression was breakfast. We got very big plates with a choice of omelette, potatoes, pancakes with honey, strawberry, watermelon, juices and coffee. And it was a nice surprise... More

If you are in stanstead for some strange reason or attraction to funky bordertowns ... then you won't have many options. This particular B&B is a bit off the beaten path and your GPS might actually take you into the US to then wind back in Canada to get here. What you find are simple rooms with very mediocre AC,... I have had lunch at Claire Fontaine three times spread over the past five months and have enjoyed every meal. As a previous reviewer said, the fixed price for a three course meal is $10.00. One has a choice of appetizers. I have started each meal with the soup of the day which this winter has been a pureed carrot... More

We were touring eastern townships and stopped by Claire Fontaine for lunch. It was totally unplanned. We asked a young guy working in a gas station when we filled gas and he recommended Claire Fontaine which is both a B&B and a restaurant. The owner couple are very nice people and we had a very pleasant talk since it was... More
