My wife and I spent 3 days at the Giardino in Ascona. We booked our stay with breakfast and dinner included and was overwhelmed by the quality of the cuisine. Great service, great atmosphere and overall a top hotel that is highly recommended by us. Definetly a place we will return too when we visit the region again.

The name says it all; this hotel is surrounded with beautiful greenery and embedded in well maintained Mediterranean influenced grounds. Extremely and genuinely friendly, this is valid for both management and personnel. Very children friendly, done in a way that couples without kids will not feel the kids. All of us had joy and fun, if we are again in the area we shall revisit for sure.

Been here a few times over last 15 years. The renovated rooms are sleek and pleasant, service continues to be fine and the great addition is the Ecco restaurant - better than many of the Michelin starred places in Switzerland.

The room is very fresh, the staff very professional and I am fascinated by their ease at switching from German to Italian to French and to English, wao! The bath in the room is a bit wierd, but all in all gorgeous space. Restaurants are amazing, we did not want to eat outside! Great inspiration for us!
