We stayed in the hotel owned "Casa della Olive" which is a small add-on property just around the corner from the hotel. The Albergo Piazza au Lac is located right on the lake front, in front of the main boat doc. The Casa delle Olive is located around the corner from the hotel in the old town. It has a very nice little courtyard, very small but clean and renovated rooms. The beds were comfortable, and they were willing to put in an additional bed for our 4 year old at no charge. The bathrooms were modern and clean but basic. This property has NO view...our window looked out on to the wall of the building across the small cobblestone street. We stayed here knowing that we wanted a good price and that we would enjoy the lake view by spending time outside. If you are wanting a view, do not book this place. Breakfast was nice and included breads, cold cut meats and cheeses, yogurts, cereals....typical European breakfast. Overall great location, average to above average... more
