I had a fabulous few days at the L'Epicea, snow showing and enjoying the beautiful room and Leysin village. Ian is a fantastic tour guide and made every trip we took a learning experience. The B&B is just a perfect walking distance away from town. I will without a doubt be back!

We did not plan to stay at L'Epicea but ended up staying when the weather prevented our planned snowshoe trip to Grand St.Bernard with Ian. The welcome was very warm, the room was comfortable, clean and had a very good view. Breakfast was very pleasant and plentiful starring some homemade jam. We expect to visit again.

A perfect location and wonderful hospitality. Leysin village is a short stroll for shopping and restaurants (Fromagerie is a must). Bedroom large and well equipped. Breakfast very good quality. Kitchenette if required. Expert snow shoe guiding and advice with Ian Spare.

Just a fabulous place. Really well looked afte by the owners or just do self catering with plenty of facilities available. Incredible spot with amazing views of the Alps. Ian is an excellent guide for all sorts of outdoor activities. Nothing seems to be too much trouble for them

L'epicea is a traditional alpine chalet with welcoming modern touches. The owners very kindly picked me and my daughter from the station which was much appreciated, thank you. The chalet is around a ten minute walk from the village centre and is in a small cluster of other chalets with unrestricted and beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and valleys.... More

The chalet was very clean, comfortable and well furnished - everything you would expect of a Swiss B&B. It was the little things that really made the difference - Ian and Julie are really friendly people and extremely hospitable. Although it is a B&B, there is a small kitchen for guest use - absolutely ideal for those on a restricted... More

Excellent hospitality from Ian and Julie. Ian picked us up from the station when we arrived, which was very welcome after the 2 hour train journey, Julie provided a lovely breakfast both mornings we stayed and both of them couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. The chalet itself is in a beautiful location and our room was clean and... More

Great location, great view from every room, very nice host, very clean rooms and in general very good value for money! The chalet is a bit outside of the village centre but it is compensated with lovely view you get!

This was my first stay in Leysin and I have to say it was great. Communication was straight forward and booking easy. Julie and Ian were kind enough to pick us up from the station which was a great help after a long week at work! The room was spotless and had everything we needed with the location being perfect... My friend and I stayed with Ian and Julie for a fall hiking vacation early this fall. The rooms were very clean and well maintained. The bathroom facilities were modern and the Chalet offers excellent views of the valley and beyond. Breakfast was light and fresh each morning. Additionally, Ian's expertise as a guide offered an incredible trekking experience that... More
