We were very excited to stay at this hotel and do some sightseeing in the area. We booked a month in advance for a holiday weekend, and two weeks before we were supposed to go we received an email stating that the hotel would be closed and our reservation was canceled. This is completely unprofessional and I wouldn't trust them.

Great service at this hotel. The breakfast is nice and the large lounge area with a view is a plus. The rooms, beds and carpet are a bit dated and worn, but the balcony and view and service make up for this. Overall a nice experience.

Unable to find an accommodation in Aigle, I ended up in Leysin, which turned out to be a wonderful experience. We stayed here to check out the nearby American school, which is just a 10-minute walk away. We enjoyed our time at this hotel - beautiful views and a warm welcome. Good breakfasts and a snack menu available in the early evening. We didn't try the spa as we were busy skiing. Very friendly and helpful owner who made every effort to make our stay comfortable and pleasant. Rooms have a great view and the breakfast was good. Very good value for money.
