We spent very nice time at this hotel. Rooms are rather rustic for a 4 star hotel, but the SPA is great and staff is very friendly and helpful.

Very large rooms, a good spa unit, friendly staff. Very central, just a few steps to the train that takes you to the ski area. Easy skiing in a big area. Excellent breakfasts, lunch and dinner traditional Swiss, i.e. a bit formal- There are plenty of alternatives within 5 minutes walking in Villars.

As you climb the mountain you just "know" you are going to run out of civilization, but then you find that in Switzerland they build whole towns (or even cities) "up the mountain".
