We would stay here again. It is much better value staying here than at Zermatt, and there is a great train connection from Tasch to Zermatt. It is veryhandy to the railway station - just a short walk with our luggage. We found the reception staff very helpful, and the rooms clean. And we loved the authentic Swiss food -... More

Imagine having to pay 236 Swiss Francs for a room for two nights that you didn't even use. That's exactly what happened to us on a recent stay to Hotel Tascherhof. It was post-Christmas high season and Zermatt was booked out so we were limited when it came to options. (Tasch is actually a perfectly fine place to stay as... More

We decided to stay in Tasch because Zermatt was too expensive. The train to Zermatt comes every 20 mins and only takes 15 mins to get there. The hotel is right next to the train station, but it is not at all noisy. The staff at front desk are very helpful and the staff in restaurant are even more friendly... More

Ideal location with secure underground car park (Tasch is the last village accessible before car free Zermatt ). Courteous and helpful staff. Dated decor and furnishings in older section of the hotel but rooms clean and functional (There is an adjoining modern wing). Good breakfast included and highly recommend half board as evening meals both substantial and appertizing. Three day... More

We stayed in the old part of the hotel and the room was a good size but a bit run down. The carpet was worn and I wasn't convinced it had been hoovered. The bathroom was in need of a refurbishment as it was very old and the shower door was falling apart. When I saw the new part of... More

After wading through the reviews for most of the hotels in Tasch and finding some of them pretty damning I was beginning to resign myself to the fact that there's not a decent hotel in the place. The Tascherhof seemed to have the best revieiws of a bad bunch so I booked us up there for our 2013 European roadtrip.... More

The hotel is 3 min walk from the station just at the edge of the parking lot. The owner of this hotel lives on the property and I never walked through the hotel without seeing him and he keeps the place spotless and you can tell that this hotel is his Baby. The hotel has free Wifi and breakfast. The... More

As part of a 45 person ski group stayed at this delightful hotel for a week of skiing on Zermatt's fabled slopes. A local transport included multi day ski pass make stay at Täsch a very convenient alternative to in Zermatt lodging. A quick 12 minute shuttle train ride literally from the door step of the hotel to the main... More

We stayed in this hotel while doing a self-guided backpack trip from Chamonix to Zermatt known as the Hiker’s Haute Route. Tasch is an auto accessible town outside of Zermatt with lodging at half the price of Zermatt proper. The Taschhof recently doubled the size of its facilities and now has an old and new building. We had a room... More

I made a choice to go cheap and cheerful for a couple of nights and it was pretty cheap and cheerful. The room was unrenovated and pretty basic. Very close to the zermatt shuttle so I got what I paid for and the skiing in Zermatt is fantastic. All in all it suited me. If you know what you are... More
