My boyfriend and I have just returned from Saas Fee having stayed at Du Glacier Hotel. Unfortunately we couldn't ski for three days due to too much snow (I know!), and had we not been at Du Glacier we might have ended up killing each other. But as it was our room was huge, with a good sized bathroom, large... more

I booked this hotel as a suprise 60th birthday treat in july 2008 for my wife.To say she was over the moon with the service the food and the friendly staff would be an understatement. We had never been to switzerland before,so had know idea what to expect .My wife dosent do snow but loves scenery and this place fitted the... more

We booked at this hotel for our week's skiing because of the excellent deal on offer from Inghams. We have been to Saas Fee twice before so already loved the village but this was the first time at this hotel. The staff are top and obviously have been very well trained. Always helpful and seeming happy in their work. The... more

This was our third time staying in Hotel du Glacier- although this was our longest stay - one week in July 08. Our room was comfortable with a new flatscreen tv with satellite channels. The bathroom was great with bath & shower. Clean towels every day and very pleasant chambermaids. This time our package was half board. We really enjoyed... more

Ok, so I'm going to sit on the fence somewhat with Du Glacier. I can't give it 5 nor can I give it 1. We stayed for 1 week of spring glacier skiing with two adults and 2 kids, 7 and 15. The hotel booked out early so we had to make do with two double rooms on separate floors,... more

I wasn't sure what to expect as the hotel was listed variably as 3 or 4 star. I chose the hotel because of decent reviews on Trip advisor and as it is one of the few hotels in Saas Fee listed on Expedia allowing me to pay for the hotel in advance i.e. at a time the dollar was higher.... more

My husband and I stayed at the, modern, Hotel Du Glacier for one week and can only say 'thanks' to all the staff for a great welcome. The room we had was spacious and overlooked the glacier and it was very quiet. It has everything that you would expect of a 4* hotel and the food was good. It is... more

Trusting the tripadvisor rating, I booked a room for 3 nights at this 4 stars hotel. What a disapointment! it looks more like an hotel-club than anything else. No style at all. Poor deco in the rooms (cheap flowery curtains, cheap mattress and pillows, the smallest TV i ever got in a hotelroom...). Cheap bathroom with almost no amenities, exept... more

we had a great trip with three children. food ,accomodation and facilities all brilliant. only drawback, nursery slopes were ten miniutes walk away (felt longer carrying skis!) .If there is a beginner in your party I would recommend a wheelie bag (and bike lock) for skis, or be prepared to carry skis etc on days when hotel can't take you... more

Great location and nice clean hotel. Staff were great as stated in the previous review. We enjoyed the food in both restaurants and service was good. We had a brilliant veiw of the glacier from our hotel room and noise was not a problem on the third floor. We were boarding and Saas Fee is probably set up for skiing... more
