This is the perfect place to stay to see the Engadine. We had a HUGE room in the corner with views of moutains in 2 directions. It had a bay window in the corner with a table and chairs so we could relax and look at the view - including sunset which was spectacular. The staff (2 people manned the desk alternately - same 2 all 8 nights of our stay!) was friendly and very helpful. The bed was comfortable and the room and bathroom had all the amenities.

The chefs are Thai so dinner was a bit odd. We only ate at the hotel once - could easily walk to at least a dozen restaurants in town. The food was heavy and much was fried. However, the breakfast buffet was very good.

This is one of the best places I have ever stayed. It was a great value because of the free transport pass for guests staying >2 nights. This allowed us to take any form of transport - including all railroads and gondolas up mountains - in the Engadine area for FREE! As many times as we wished. You... more
