We come to Hotel Walther every summer and really enjoy it. In contrast to international hotel chains, this hotel features a very individual touch. From room maid to waiter, most people have been with Hotel Walther for many years, as is the management by family Walther. The facilities are very good: A nice swimming pool and a very relaxing spa... More

This was my second visit to Pontresina and I decided to stay and this property. It was a very good decision. My experience was first rate from the very first moment when I drove up and without identify myself was greeted by name. I had booked a junior suite which I found to be large and very comfortable. There was... More

From the time we were greeted at the front door to the time the front desk said goodbye, we were given first class service. Daniel was our server for breakfast and he was the best. Desserts in the afternoon, as well as other nice amenities made our stay wonderful.

We stayed at the Walther in April 2014 with our 2 teenage daughters. It was our fourth visit. It is no coincidence that virtually all the reports on Tripadvisor are so complimentary about it. It is an outstanding hotel and it is very difficult to find fault with anything. The hotel is situate in a quiet position on the edge... More

We spent a long weekend at teh Walther and were delighted by teh excellent service, the traditionell Swiss atmosphere and the wonderful spa. The hotel isn't posh, it let you experience the genuine feeling of Swiss hospitality, led since three generations by the Walther family!

This property has it all, but mostly an incredibly charming and helpful staff. The hotel is up to the standards of the area, but is still warm and friendly. We chose Hotel Walther based on great reviews on this site, and we were not disappointed with our stay (4 nights in Feb 2014). Engadin, and particularly St Moritz, is known for its high-class, traditional, and monolithic hotels, which come with an exorbitant price tag, and more often than not with traditionalist, stuck-up staff to boot. While the Walther may... More

We spent 4 days in Walther Hotel and we felt like home. Everyone is so welcome, friendly, polite. The Walther family made its best for us to have a wonderful Christmas holiday. The hotel is very beautiful, although a bit old. The food is just amazing and the service exceptional. I would definitely recommend it!
