Prices for rooms in Nyon can be very high - and for the price I did not expect much. In fact, the hotel was pretty good. Decor was up to date, the room was ok - but the building was not designed as a modern hotel - so you have to be able to lift your luggage up and down... More

Dear Guest, Thank you for your comment. Yes in deed it's an old building and when we did the renovation we tried to combine modern and old. Unfortunately elevators were not part of the project ;) Thank you for the positives remarks about the staff and the location. Thank you again, Best regards Philippe Kuratle More

The Hotel is very small and tight, which is not a problem if you can at least move in the bathroom here you can't... Shower has not seen a scrub for a double of years, as you see white and grey stains everywhere... In the room to, you just have to look behind the bed, to see dust piling... Hotel... More

Dear Christian, Thank you for your comment on tripadvisor, it do helps us to improve. We took over the hotel 2 year ago and we had to make a choice of renovating the rooms and leaving the bathrooms for later. Good news, we will be renovating them this year, staring at the end of July. I am really sorry for... More

The reservation for 2 single rooms was messed up and only 1 room reserved. My travelling companion then was put up in a neighbouring hotel. The room in the "Ange" was on the second floor and facing the street. Due to the heavy traffic it was very noisy, bad luck if you prefer to be able to open your window.... More

My wife and I arrived in the lovely little town of Nyon and stayed at Hotel de L'Ange. The staff were really friendly, the rooms were clean and comfortable and bar in the hotel had some wonderful live music that we happened to stumble in on. The has been renovated so the rooms are nice yet small. There is no air conditioning and the rooms didn't have fans so a bit of a draw back. A fan would have been useful.
