Nice hotel, great English TV channels, needed to borrow plug adapter from reception, not a problem, beautiful place to stay, location is excellent . Lots of bars and restaurants close by. Didn't have breakfast so can't comment.

We had the Chinese room. Maybe in China the toilet is at the foot of the bed IN THE ROOM (separated only by a sparse string curtain) ? This room for two (with only one towel !) is meant perhaps for two dwarfs. There is some attention given to the decoration, but they would do better to create a door.

When you look at the pictures in the internet website, rooms look very nice, but reality is a very different one. Furniture requiring a total renewal, carpets dirty, bathroom was extremely small. This is by far the hotel I would like to chose if known what I saw. The personnel was correct and the hotel is well placed in the... More

The breakfast at this hotel is excellent. There was an excellent range of food and was of high quality. The coffee was also excellent. The room was small but very functional. We had a room facing the main square. If we opened the window the noise at night was very loud. There was no curtains on the window which meant... More

I spent two nights in Vevey Switzerland and decided to stay in one of the smaller hotels close to the train station. I booked a single room in the Hostellerie de Genève on the Place du Marché. The Hotel is near the Lake and is City Center next to old Vevey a five minute walk from Vevey's main railway station if... More

I like hotels with a personal touch, the contrary of the standardised big hotel chains. Something unique, something different. This hotel is one of them. The owner takes care of your registration. A boy brings the luggage to your room. Mine had some unique African objects as decoration. The restaurant had good food and friendly service. On the terrace we... More

Stayed here for some days for a business trip. My room was on the first floor, a small studio, basic but good. The bed was ok for a single person room, a little small for tall persons. The breakfast, which is included, is good (baguette, ham/cheese/jam, quiche, pie/cake, various yoghurts). Service is good, personnel is very friendly. Restaurant is good,... More

Hotel is in a great location near the lake on the square. The rooms are small and the bathrooms are tiny but were consistently clean over the two weeks that I stayed at the hotel. The staff was helpful and friendly but extremely limited in their understanding of English. I was really pleased with breakfast. The offerings each day were... More

I had been debating for months between this hotel and another in Tour de Peliz. While this is certainly not a five star hotel, we were pleased with our decision. We stayed at the hotel for two nights with our family of 5, three children ages 6, 7 and 10. First, the positives. The location is superb. The hotel is... More

Hotel was very nice, staff was very accommodating. Small, boutique like - rooms through the glass door are smaller and more spartan than the rooms through the door in the dining room. Those rooms have balconies and nicer views and are more unique larger. Rooms through the glass door are much more stuffy and 'hotel' like. Views are amazing, right... More
