I had a meeting at a nearby conference facility and stayed here for two nights. The only exceptional thing about this hotel is it's exceptionally poor customer service. My colleagues were turned away from a nearly empty restaurant by a very rude waiter/host because they were "full". We then went to the cheesy little "Space Bar" to see if there... more

This hotel has made me take caution with the Best Western brand as it was such a let down. The double room was grossly overpriced at £125 of which breakfast was the only extra included which was just cereals, crossaints, some cold ham and drinks. The room had a flat screen telly (which can't be turned up very loud) but... more

To be honest, the worst thing about this hotel is its location, stranded in a field and too close to the motorway for comfort. Otherwise there is not a great deal to criticise, as long as you accept it for what it is; an airport hotel (even though it is quite a long way from the airport). SHUTTLE was bang... more

My room is (I'm still sitting in it) small, has a smell of cleaning chemicals, and the motorway (which is 100 m away) is so loud, that I still prefer the smell over the noise when I open the window. Saying to the staff at the reception "Excuse me, just a brief question ... " was rewarded twice by two... more

It was the worst experience ever in my life. For the ones that use to stay at a Best Wester in US, run away!!! All that it is in the hotel folder inside your room its fake!!!! They say that they have a gym that they dont have it. They say that they have a Sauna that do not works!... more

This is a 3 star hotel, so cannot expect much glitz and glamour. The service is friendly and helpful. I understood that the hotel is being refurbished. I was in a not yet refurbished room, and it was like stepping back into 1972. I think the bed was also from that year, because the springs in the mattress were suffering... more

My partner and I stayed here for 3 nights in February. The hotel was undergoing renovation but this did not affect our stay. We missed our shuttle bus from the airport on arrival as we weren't too sure as to where we were being picked up. We ended up paying 68swiss francs (about £45) for a 10 minute taxi ride.... more

I always enjoyed staying at Chavannes de Bogis - and did so often - but haven't been in the last couple of years. This time, I was greeted by a scruffy, gum chewing, indifferent receptionist and shown to a cold room (the heater didn't work and no one seemed to care) with a warm fridge (again no one cared). I'm... more

I stayed at this hotel on a business trip. The location is very good, easy access to the motorway and nice quite surrounding, which is more enjoyable during warm days. But this is it. The price is way too high for a max 2 star hotel, although it is rated 3. Rooms are basic but still ok, but the service,... more

I attended a conference at this hotel around the end of August, 2008. The hotel is unattractive, and the rooms are small-with the exception of a very bizarre black-velvet-and mirrored-wallpapered room on the fourth floor that looked straight out of a 1970's adult film (which the hotel put me in until I asked for a change.) These are the small... more
