The rooms are overall very disappointing: either they are small or in need of a serious refurbishment. Spa facilities and common areas (staircase/corridors/lifts) are a bit worn out. Avoid wedding celebrations as most of the usual services for regular guests in the hotel are completely disregarded (even the swimming pool, which is converted to a wedding ballroom, cannot be used... Beautiful 5* hotel. Service is excellent. Everything's made for you to feel good and relaxed. You can have a private ride to the ski cabin (and you can also call them when you're finished to pick you up). The room was beautiful also, confortable, nice view. The breakfast buffet is excellent and the hotel bar very nice. Will definitely return.

Reception : You have the feeling you're coming to someone's home, nobody's really there to welcome you … Room : Poor very poor for an hotel pretending having 5 stars, very small, clean and no place to put your stuff. SPA : Beautiful in-door swimming pool (big, and warm enough). But, there are no towel available you have to go... More

Location - not central (Crans). Ok if you come by car, not so great if you come by bus in Crans or by rail car in Montana. Expect from 2 km to Crans centre or 4 km to Montana centre. Grounds - nice location, right next to Golf courses and the Etang Long (lake), with a nice path through the... More

By no means does this hotel deserve it’s 5 stars. Sadly, it is still trying to live off an old reputation and does not represent Swiss 5-star-hospitality. The rooms badly need to be renovated (smell, broken tiles, sagging beds, etc.), the food is average and overpriced, the staff is not qualified for 5 star service (unwelcoming, no class, most could... I am here for a 3 days seminary and it looks like a nice place for this kind of activity. The place sit on the local golf field which is quite spectacular. The building look like a typical over sized chalet . I had a room on the first floor which must have been recently renewed and was pretty large.... More

This hotel celebrated its centenary in 2009. It has an impressive history and still retains its old world charm.Large rooms with the all the usual facilities remincient of the past century . The walls of the celebrity Bar are festooned with photos of the famousranging from from Gary Cooper, Grace Kelly to Cary Grant and Clark Gable etc. The dinning... More

Great service and rooms, 2 min walk to city center where there's free shuttles every few minutes to the slopes. It's a huge hotel, so if you're looking for a small cozy place, this isn't it. Excellent view of the mountains.

I stayed one night at the Grand Hotel du Golf & Palace. The service was great and even if the room is small, it was clean and very pleasant. They have a shuttle service that can pick you up at the station when you arrive. Very convenient. The breakfast was great with a large choice and the view is great... More

Grand Hotel is typical Swiss hotel but expencive and rather unpleasant. I have been staying for weekend invited to see golf tournament. That is large typical swiss, unnecesary expencive hotel. It would be OK but: no english menu in restaurant (rether in high end pricing), very soft beds ( I preferr hard beds), very small bathroom. There was a wedding... More
