Last week in February 2015. We needed a hotel in town for our last day skiing after staying at a less than complimentary hotel and was told about this hotel by the tourist office. When we arrived the lady booking us in gave us 2 twin rooms one with a slightly bigger balcony but didn't charge any extra and was... More

We stayed at his hotel for our ski break in February 2015. Champery is a relatively small ski village with not many accommodation choices, so we gave this one a chance as it is nicely situated in the village center. We arrived late the first night after a long day of travelling and entered our room to find that the... More

Dear Mairoula, I would like to truly apologize for the issues with the bed type and the interaction you had with our staff. This is truly not representative of the experience that we want to provide to our guests. With regards to your bed preference, we do apologize for the misunderstanding. Despite the name this is not really a hotel, there is no lounge, no restaurant (except for a breakfast buffet), no bar and no spa. You sleep, eat breakfast and that's it. At SFr 250 per night it's quite pricey. Good location, friendly staff. Great shower

We stayed at Le National during one week in Feb 2014 and loved the place. Le National is a nice hotel, great value for money, in a superb village, and most of all GREAT food & drinks (best of the region), and close access to the slopes. If you are looking for a quiet and relaxed holiday, this is the... More

So we stayed Feb 2014, for a weekend ski trip with friends. We chose Champery as it looks beautiful and we thought it would be quite quiet. We weren't wrong. We stayed there outside of the school holidays and the place was DEAD. It was eerie! Anyway, Champery wasn't a bad base but be warned, if a couple of the... More

We are a group of 40 people so we almost had the whole hotel. The rooms were clean & tidy with good size balcony. I got the corner room with cemetery view but it doesn't bother me at all. The hosts, Eve-Marie & Michel were very friendly, and even draw us a map to help us get around. Food was... More

I visit this area regularly, probably my favourite ski location. Unfortunately, while the hosts try hard, we were not comfortable - I did not like the cemetery view, and church bells are charming, but not next door. This is very much an up with the lark to get on the slopes type of place. For us, we like to linger... More

We visited Champery New year 2012/2013 and stayed at Le National in Champery. The owner makes sure you are made welcome and feel almost home from home., The town is not spoiled by large hotels, and this hotel has only about twenty or so rooms. The service is excellent and personal, and you get the feeling you are being especially... More

Our teen-age daughter recently spent four days at this hotel with a ski group and her skis didn't make it on the bus with everyone else's. Marie went out of her way to first, find the skis and poles, then to arrange shipment to us. Our daughter said this didn't surprise her as she felt very well taken care of... More

This is the second visit to the hotel, recommended by a friend who has been going for years. Ideal for ski-ing as just 5mins walk to the bottom of the cable car, which gives access to a vast area (including France). Marie and hubby are lovely and will go out of their way to make your stay as good as... More
