There's not a lot for me to write on this hotel, as it's all been pretty much said in the posts below. I was concerned that these posts are quite old, so perhaps the hotel had deteriorated somewhat, but no, it was lovely. There may be bigger and posher hotels in Brig, but I very much doubt there are any so wonderfully situated. The hotel sits immediately in front of a pretty, small park, right next to the castle, and only a very short walk through the castle to the town centre. Our room (No 102) was small but comfortable. More importantly it had excellent views of Stockalper Castle next door and the mountains behind. Short stroll to the main centre with Saltina River running through the heart of it.
