I wasn't expecting anything wonderful, and it wasn't - but it was quite acceptable. 106CHF got me single use of a double room, decent bathroom, TV - CNN the only English channel, and a reasonable breakfast. Have just returned from a stay at the Hotel Europe in Brig, which is conveniently situated for the railway station. The room was well appointed and of a good size. Continental 'buffet breakfast' provided which was ample. The proprietors were friendly and approachable. Good value and would have no hesitation in recommending this hotel. more
