We had a nice stay when driving around in the alps. It was a cosy hotel and had a alp house standard with small rooms but clean and with free wifi and breakfast. The breakfast was quite small but it is included. It have only staff after 16.00 so you cannot get access before that time. It is a family... More

Dear Sonny_Asplund, Thank you very much your review. Regarding our opening times, check-in is in fact 16.00, however, we are also available earlier, in case an early check-in is wished. Again, thank you for your review, as every one can only improve our service. I wish you a wonderful rest of your day and let us know when you come... More

We just had one night passing through Switzerland having come up from Italy over the Stelvio Pass that day. The hotel was fine - comfortable beds, helpful reception and a convenient location for the town and walking up the Tamina gorge. However, on a rainy September Sunday evening Bad Ragaz was pretty "dead" regarding appealing places for supper - and... More

I stayed here with a fellow walker for one night. the hotel is clean & comfortable. the room was small but well equipped including a balcony, 2 safes & coffee/tea facilities. would have been nice if the breakfast room was a bar in the evenings !

We have a two-bedroom apartment with balcony by the river where we are energized by hearing the call of nature through the river chimes. Takes about hour and a half for a hike to Tamina Gorge -- origin of the famous Bad Ragaz thermal water. A walk inside the gorge is great experience and not to be missed. People with... More

My friend and I booked this hotel for the low price, expecting acceptable service. Instead we were pleasantly surprised to find excellent service, to make our stay memorable beyond our expectations. The staff were friendly and trust-worthy, accommodating all our requests, and even getting us a 10% discount at the famous Bad Ragaz Thermal-bad. Despite having no elevator, the hotel... More

Bad Ragaz is an expensive tourist/spa town. Against that background, this olde-worlde hotel is good value for money. You'll have to haul your bags up narrow staircases past old dolls and kitschy ornaments, but the room we had was adequate to its purpose with a comfortable enough bed. The staff was pleasant though their English was minimal. Nearby free hotel... More

This is a terrible hotel, beds are old and you can feel the springs come through. Worst of all, I couldn't sleep because the front door got slammed really hard all evening until late. This was no fun. Eventually, I tried to get in touch with some of the hotel staff, but the hotel seemed to be abandoned. This was... More

I booked a new year stay in hotel Quelle Esos in Bad Ragaz in september 12 for my parents and family. Ove three months before arrival, I booked a 3 bedroom and 1 living room apartment via booking.com. When we arrived I was shown to a room with six beds lined up like in a dormitory. Our apartment had obviously... More

Great location, close to the Spa and in the old village. Small hotel with a quiet atmosphere. Quite adequate breakfast, served in a cozy dining room decorated in traditional Swiss style. Very friendly receptionist, I could feel always welcome no matter what additional requests I had. Very quiet rooms where all you could hear was the pleasant sound of the... More
