This was one of the worse Hotel expereinces I have ever had. Location wise not bad there is still othe hotels more centrally located, or directly at the harbour with lake view. The person working there - probably the owner - was kind of helpful but he made an untended impression and he smelled. The room was a disaster. 1.... More

Lovely hotel, central location, close to lake and old town. Wonderful host who provided us with refreshment on arrival which we drank in the garden, he also recommended an excellent restaurant where we sat outside and enjoyed our meal. Highly recommend anyone visiting Landau to stay here.

I'm not sure about the bad reviews from the people below as I found it nothing but excellent ! I'm sure the negative comments below are just tired grumpy travelers! The price was good, the rooms were clean, not a single complaint from me! The host, possible owner was funny (I think Normbert). I was walking the streets looking for... More

To be fair, the beds were fine and the breakfast was good, but there it stopped. What a strange place! I arrived and wanted to wait for my friend before checking in. The attendant (and there is no other way to describe the person) said I had to go outside to wait -- it was raining. Then he called me... More

We booked accommodation for this hotel on the day of arrival – and we were pleasantly surprised with its offering and the value for money. Hotel Seerose is on the island and the room was spacious. The bed was comfortable and the owner very friendly. He directed us towards the free parking area and suggested a restaurant for dinner. Lindau... More

Briefly: those people are thieves, arrogant, and unreliable. More in detail: I asked to wait for my arrival at around 23:00, I planned to travel with family (my wife, two little kids, and myself). The hotel agreed. Late in that day, they made an agent (they don't even speak English) call me to say that they RETREATED THE AGREEMENT, and... More

I guess we should of read the reports first and then arrived with low expectations which may of been exceeded. The most expensive room of our European trip and we expected a grand hotel. Instead it is a pokey little place and incredibly expensive for what you get. We had a basement room with one tiny window at street level,... More

We had a family room, downstairs, rather modest but we were quite satisfied because we knew how difficult it was to get a room in Lindau in July over the weekend for three persons. Good air, and after a long walk one could sleep very well. Nice and tidy place suitable for those who do not look for any special... More

This was our second stay at the Seerose. A very nice family run hotel, clean comfortable rooms and a nice breakfast. Free WiFi (a bit painful to use but it works) and Free parking. It may seem out of the way, but you are with 5-10 mins of everything.

We arrived on a public holiday (unknowingly) and asked at the information centre if they knew of free hotels in our price range. Apparently it is quite expensive on the island and we felt happy that we were able to secure anything. The room was basic but comfortable but we had a bathroom across the corridor. Not a huge drama... More
