An Italian Villa in the German countryside by Lake Constance. There is a fine restaurant attached to the Villa. The dinner and breakfast we had there were exceptional. Many little birds sing in the morning in its garden to alert that the sun has risen and that you should go to a magnificent breakfast this is a destination, we look... More

We had the pleasure of staying here for three nights in September. We were truly sorry to leave! Our room was lovely and we enjoyed each and every dinner immensely. Even breakfast (by candlelight) was beautifully done. The service was impeccable, both in the hotel and in the restaurant. We would go back to the Villino anytime and we highly... More

This hotel above Lindau is surrounded by a great green garden, very charming and in a great condition! The rooms are a kind of "old fashion" but charming and cozy. Absolutely clean rooms and the the top of it one of the best customer service I ever had in Germany! The restaurant is excellent but expensive. The overall experience is... More

We wanted to stay by the Bodensee for 2 nights so that we could explore the area and visit Liechtenstein. I hadn't expected a beautifully decorated villa built round a central courtyard located on the edge of a residential area overlooking apple groves. Our room Rubino was large and well decorated. The restaurant for dinner is very elegant and there... More

This was our 2nd visit and this time we stayed the night as opposed to just eating here. The staff were excellent, the room was lovely, gemudlich (cosy) and clean with a very nice en suite. We came for a family celebration dinner and drinks, aperitifs were served in the bar, which is comfortable but certainly not spacious. The dinner... More

Superb staff who go out of their way to ensure you have a first class experience (with an incredibly positive attitude). The food was spectacular and worth every Euro (note: some entrees are over $50 USD). Our room was spacious with an oversized bathroom and nice amenities. The garden area is very special with many species of plants/flowers all laid... More

We stayed in this hotel on our way from Munich to Zurich(decided on the spur of the moment) We called and were given a suite 410Euro per night and what a delightful suite. The whole hotel has been done in a charming style with a gorgeous garden and an absolutely super staff to match. The restaurant was fully booked but... More

This is our fourth visit to Villino and the second since it was significantly extended The hotel service is efficient, highly organised, unobtrusive and very friendly. Our German is good but the staff speak English fluently so it's never a problem to communicate. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. The restaurant serves simply wonderful food with an Italian-Asian influence. The set... More

This is a wonderful hotel that feels like it is in a vineyard in Italy; actually it is almost on Lake Constance with a view of the Swiss and Austrian alps. Everything is "bespoke," from the informal check-in to the fabulous meals. But you will pay for this. By far the priciest hotel on our trip. Worth it? I'm not... More

We just spent a delightful 2 days at Villino. Our accommodations were wonderful, the owner Sonia was extremely friendly and cooperative and the dining room deserved its Michelin Star. The comments about "pricy" need to be seen from a different perspective. A meal of this quality in any major european city would cost considerably more. The breakfast was on a... More
