superb location on the shores of lake Constance with view of the Austrian Alps. The hotel shows its age but has been kept up well. Brand new wellness and lovely, old-fashioned outdoor pool. So it is a front lake hotel with nice gardens - old charm hotel so to speak. Service was extremely slow and inexperienced. Our room was tired – could use a bit of update. We stayed at Hotel Bad Schachen for two nights this summer and we really enjoyed its dinstinguished old fashioned feel. The hotel is right at the lakeside about 10 minutes drive from Lindau.
