We have just returned after a 10 day stay with the Familie Klasen in their home. A lovely welcome to the hotel and then a lovely room with a view of the river and the Reichsburg castle. The room was great and very comfortable, especially the big bed. The ensuite was great and the shower was powerful and loads of... More

We have just returned from spending a wonderful week at the Hotel Weinhaus Klasen. The hotel is spotless and as it is run by the family that owns the hotel there is a definite difference in how you are treated. Very friendly and always polite; nothing is too much trouble for the owners. The hotel is right on the banks... More

We stayed two nights at this comfortable, friendly hotel overlooking the picturesque Mosel River and the Reichsburg castle. Such a terrific view. Comfortable bed, lots of hot water in shower, great traditional food in restaurant, friendly and helpful owners. English is spoken. Light sleepers might want to ask for rooms at the back, as traffic starts early (5.30am) on the... More

We had reservations for this hotel and when we got there, only one hour before check in, we were treated in such a rude way! The lady in the reception did not offer to take our luggage or anything. She was impolite and told us to leave and get back in an hour when rooms would be ready. We had... More

We didn't stay at the hotel, but did eat at the restaurant. After checking into our B&B, Haus Thies, it started raining and restaurant Klasen was right around the corner. We went inside and were warmly greeted. The dining room had a nice comfortable feel and overlooked the Mosel River. They did have menus in English and the owner did... More

We found a very warm welcome at Hotel Weinhaus Klassen when we arrived but were most impressed by the effiecency and cleanliness of the hotel and restaurant itself. We had a room with balcony that looked out directly to the Mosel and to the left; views of Cochem the Castle and much more. The walk into town took us about... More

This hotel offered us spacious rooms with a stunning view over the Mosel, as well as the castle. The bathrooms had everything we required with more than enough storage space for everything. The walk to the town center may be a bit too far for the liking of some, but for us it was perfect. Breakfasts were great. All of... More
