We have just returned from a week in the Mosel. We travelled with friends who have stayed with Frau Lehman many times before, and they did the bookings by telephone. On arrival at Haus Erholung, we were immediately offered tea or coffee and enjoyed it sitting in the garden beside a bubbling water feature. Haus Erolung is on two sites opposite each other on Oberer Weg. The one we were in fronts on to this road, and has delightful rooms each with a balcony where one can sit and sip a glass of wine in the evening, or pick up a glorious dawn chorus of birds in the early morning. The interior of the house was light, bright and superbly appointed. There is an indoor swimming pool, sauna and fitness centre. The rooms were furnished with taste and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom was shining and the power shower delivered hot water at all times. (The only thing I missed was a hair-drier.)
