Stayed 2 nights here as wanted pleasant location but within striking distance of Nurburgring. The rooms are slightly old fashioned but that's not a bad thing as they are very clean and in good order with new double glazing throughout. Our room had a beautiful view over Cochem to the Castle on the other side of the river. Only a pleasant 10 minute walk to the centre of Cochem so location is excellent if you like peace and quiet. Free covered parking included as is breakfast which was excellent with lots of choice and of good quality - couldn't fault it. Friendly service and owner and most staff spoke good English which was useful (to say the least).Had the Table d' hote evening meal one night, 3 courses for 16.5 euros and this was quite acceptable and fair value for money if not exactly haut cuisine. I would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone seeking a quiet location near the centre of Cochem. more
