This hotel was quite an odd find of my parents, as they wanted to go back to Cochem but obviously it had changed since they were last there. It is very tidy and unique with upmarket décor and facilities. We could definitely tell that it was stylised to the owners taste as it felt very homely and the décor was... More

This hotel no longer has a restaurant but still does serve breakfast. The rooms are generally large and very modern. It is a bit annoying that the lights automatically come on (motion sensors) when you go to the bathroom even when you are almost asleep. The hotel is so modern that you cannot control the lights - your motion controls... More

We were very happy with the great service and hospitality we received at Villa Vinum. Theo and his team have a great property and it was great for our family of 4. We had the 12 apartment way up in the attick. He let me store my bicycle in his basement and gave us plenty of ideas for activities, even... More

What a wonderful place. I seriously wanted to move in! This hotel balanced out the other somewhat disappointing or odd parts of our visit to Cochem. First of all, the location is excellent. Right on the Mosel river, gorgeous views (especially from our suite) and a five minute walk or so to the city center where all the action is.... More

A lovely place to stay in Cochem with a really nice owner in Theo who made us very welcome, smart room on the ground floor overlooking the Mosel. A good rear car park and terrace and a quite modern breakfast set up given in a lovely room.

Spent 2 nights at Villa Vinum. Very friendly & accommodating owner. Nice, clean double room (#7) with a side view of the castle. Had a private balcony off the bedroom. The bathroom was large with a shower (no bath), but that wasn't a problem. The lighting in the bathroom was a little strange. There was no light switch to turn... More

Very disappointing. The owner showed himself completely unprepared to host and deal with foreign guests who do not necessarily think like him. I kindly requested a discount on the daily rate at checkout, because of the room bad quality as described below. At that moment the owner, Mr. Theodor Steidel, suddenly became extremely rude, aggressive and impolite, starting an unnecessary... More

Beautiful hotel on the Mosel at Cochem. The host Theodor was so welcoming and helpful - we did not have a reservation, but he found us a beautiful room with a view over the river. The bed was so comfortable, excellent bathroom and shower -all very tasteful. Breakfast consists of meats, cheese, bread and boiled eggs - but so much... More

We had a fantastic stay here for 2 nights during the new year. The b&b is very clean & modern in a super location by the river. Theo was the best host and very attentive to our needs. He was very helpful with informing us of where to go and the attractions. He and his lovely staff put on a... More

This quaint pension was the perfect addition to our visit in Cochem Germany. It's very clean and it's so cute! The staff (Theodore)was very pleasant and easy going. The pension is centrally located, can enjoy the the small town from any direction. I highly recommend this pension for anyone traveling to Cochem. 😊
