Nice clean hotel but a little dated. Food was excellent and the wine was even better! Most of the staff were very good and looked after us well, but they were let down by the reception lady on the last day who was unhelpful and rude.

I stayed with a National Holiday coach tour from 7 Dec 2915 until 11 Dec. Our arrival was very late in the evening but the hotel staff turned out and got our bags inside very quickly and despite the hour a hot meal was provided. Breakfast and Dinners were all buffet style and very plentiful. A good choice and very... More

Stayed here for four nights with a tour group visiting German Christmas markets. Our room was at the back of the hotel so there was no view. It was very clean and comfortable. We had everything we needed apart from hot water in the evenings. This we were told was that we were at the end of the building and... More

Had four nights here in a superior room overlooking the river, could not fault it - spotlessley clean, staff exceptionally friendly and so helpful, food reasonably priced and of top quality. Worth paying the extra for a superior room

We stayed at the Hotel Triton on a tour for five nights. It's billed as the Brixiade-Triton, since the two hotels are adjacent with the same management. It's a bit old fashioned but we had an adequately furnished fairly large room with a balcony and good views over the river, town and castle. In contrast the en-suite was a bit cramped... More

Booked room with water view, actual view was side alley, small room. All service stops at noon, if you want any service after noon you have to 'go up the street to their sister hotel'. Your bad luck if it is raining. Parking is also 'up the street'. No help with luggage.

Close to all the sights and local amenities. The castle is well worth a visit as is a trip on the river. For a treat the Konditorei from the many cafés and the Mosel wine from the river front bars are a welcome diversion.

We stayed here for one night in 2 double rooms in Brixade, which were clean, and pleasant. This is a lovely spot, very picturesque, the hotel is a bit pricey for what it is, however you are paying for the views, and the location. Our rooms were standard doubles and were all internally facing, no windows onto the front and... More

We stayed at Moselstern-Hotel 'Brixiade & Triton' (in the Brixiade building) for one night at the end of July, 2015. We were invited to a social event, forcing an overnight stay, so we booked the best hotel in this area ~ which indicates the low level of other guest accommodations in the region. The hotel is dated (I’ll describe it... More

We booked this hotel because it was the only one we found in Cochem with air conditioning, despite the less than excellent tripadvisor score. It is seriously underrated! Our room was beautifully furnished and large, with a balcony facing Cochem and castle across the Mosel. I could have spent the entire vacation staring at the view. To get to town,... More
