We stopped for one night as we wanted to explore Cochem. The hotel was comfortable and the staff were very friendly and helpful. Our room was fairly large and had a balconey with a view of the river. Parking was in a public area, but was well lit and it seems that it is a very quiet area, being 15... More

Good=> The breakfast is good and the area for it has a good view to the Mosel, with a terrace. Not so good=> The rooms in the back side of the hotel have views to a parking area and the buildings not so nice. The bathroom needs some update. The room was very basic decorated and the aisle that distribute the... More

We had wonderful service here. My husbands bike went into secure locked parking (cellar?) Mine did not fit so alternative undercover parking at a hotel just a few moments away was sorted out. The room was fine... apart from stone plumbing noises with a lovely balcony and view of the river and castle. Breakfast was good and the service really... More

We found the hotel very easily although parking wasn’t so easy at first. We parked up at the neighbouring supermarket and checked in and after using a bit of remedial German I found that the very helpful and welcoming lady spoke fluent English and explained that parking was just a short few metres from the main hotel. You get a... More

This hotel must be rated as one of the most friendliest establishments in Germany-The owner and his staff must be the most helpful people you will ever come across-The hotel is clean ,the breakfasts are first class, even if it is a pleasant walk into Cochem,it is well worth it,anyway the bus service is quite good for the less mobile,i.e.,me... We arrived around 8pm without a booking, asking for a room. The owner was exceptionally welcoming and helpful, sorting us out with a room in their apartment block just one block away towards Cochem. We were given an excellent restaurant recommendation (I would strongly recommend the Weinbauer) and other helpful advice. Given we interrupted the owner who was clearly enjoying... More

The staff at this hotel are very welcoming, friendly and helpful. We were met with a warm welcome and quickly directed to the free car park, which was very useful and secure (use of a key fob). The hostess explained everything to us clearly and directed us to the town and its highlights. Breakfast was delicious and had lots of... More

Cannot fault this guesthouse at all. We were in the guesthouse which is about 50m down the road from the main building which isn't a problem at all, in fact if anything it made it more quiet. The room was a little on the smaller side but big enough for 2 of us for 4 nights and the beds were... More

Stayed here for a single night while solo tripping through Germany. I booked a single person bedroom for just one night as I was only passing through Cochem on my way to the Black Forest. The room (with an attached balcony) and bathroom were neat and clean and the hotel in general provided all the basic amenities that you could... More

Friendly welcome & comfortable room on the first floor. Plenty of hanging space and room for luggage. Efficient shower & extractor fan in the bathroom. Hotel has an elevator, so no difficulty with heavy bags. Situated about 10 minutes walk from the town, traffic noise is minimal and the walk affords beautiful views of the majestic buildings, wine yards &... More
