The total facility is probably the best of the road houses on the Nullarbor. The restaurant and bar are clean, spacious and friendly. There is a wide selection on the menu. The accommodation is OK nothing flash but it is clean and far enough off the highway that the road noise is hardly noticeable.

With only a small number of negative reviews, I felt I had to express the truth about this motel. It was the worst on on the drive from Perth to Adelaide. Period. I realise how remote it is but that is no excuse for the poor quality of everything in this tired joint. Keep driving and stay at Eucla down... More

I was very impressed with the accommodation given the isolation of this stop. The cabins were fitted out with modern decor and fittings, plaster walls and modern paint scheme. Very clean with TV, fridge, air conditioner, kettle - (all working) and coffee. tea biscuits etc. A great comfortable bed and spacious room, clean and modern bathroom. Added bonus is the... More

You can drive from WA to SA (or vice versa) without too much drama, but it’s a long day. If you are like us, you’ll elect to break the trip and a logical overnight stop (distance wise) is somewhere near the SA/WA border. That leaves you with a choice between Eucla Amber Motel and Border Village. We have stayed at... More

I had no expectations when we arrived at Border Village, I wasn't even sure we had a booking, as when I made the booking they asked for my name and nothing else, no. contact number, no credit card. However we turned up and they did have our booking, although they weren't that busy. I had booked a cabin at a... More

A very convenient overnight stop after 10 hours driving. The motel room, although small, is clean with a comfortable bed & good bench space for luggage etc. We had a good meal in the dining room of the adjacent roadhouse. Friendly & helpful staff.

We stayed there overnight.Nothing wrong with the park or the town or the Nullabor Plains.Due to the fact that there is a lack of water and one needs to take your own, many travelers arent prepared for this. When one stays at Eucla Park and just up the road is the Border Village just make sure you are prepared. It is 1/2 way... After about 1000kms from Esperance, Border Village was a welcomed rest stop. I don't think this place tries to sell itself as 5 star luxury accomodation; and we went in not expecting that. The beds were lumpy, bed linen was clean-ish and tv had a few working channels - all that we were expecting. The important thing was that it... More

Accommodation from Caravan/camping, to backpackers rooms, to motel accommodation, to 5 Star self contained unit. We were travelling in a motorhome. There is a swimming pool and the Roadhouse has a restaurant and bar. And to top it off - The Par 3 160m Border Kangaroo hole (part of the Nullarbor Links Golf Course) is right out front. Recommended stop.
