This hotel must have taken note of the comments about cleanliness, on my visit it was spotless. The breakfast was excellent, the hotel was good value, with pleasant staff. The beds are comfortable and although in the main square, it was quiet. The wifi is rather slow.

I stayed here one night. This is a typical economical hotel one sees in smaller German cities. It is very centrally located and is close to the Dom. The elegant lady at reception spoke the most charming German accented English and just hearing her was a pleasant experience. When I asked her for dinner recommendations she gave me a good... More

The Dom hotel is a small hotel with friendly staff and one of the best breakfasts I've ever come across (much better than that offered by a large international hotel chain in another city in Germany). The Dom is situated on the Obermarkt, which makes the hotel absolutely central. Worms is a pleasant town with good shopping, and the railway... More

Hotel is Clean, quiet and located in a good position. But towels were so small that the bigger one used after shower was not enough to dry my hands!! And most important thing: wireless connection limitated at one hour for each day it's absurd in 2014.. expecially for a structure in wich many people stay for businness!

As other posters emphasise, the four-star rating is hard to believe. Ill-fitting bathroom door ensured no privacy, place was not clean (see photos) - hairs and dust and stains and bedding that smelled strongly of stale sweat. No air-con, and with window opening out onto concrete delivery back-alley (see photos), an early noisy awakening. Generally shabby and run-down - disappointing... More

We recently spent one night in Worms at the Dom Hotel and the location couldn't be better. Otherwise, I think the best word is underwhelming -- it's functional, clean, everything works okay, but it's not special in any way. The front desk staff are polite and pleasant enough, but as others have mentioned, show little warmth to guests. The room... More

Our recent visit to Worms included a night at the Dom Hotel. As 4 star rated property we expected better. The bathroom was incredibly small, tight for one person, with towels that were so thin you could almost see through them. The room was clean but without any of the amenities one expects from a 4 star property. The Internet... More

Approach can be challanging even with GPS because place is on the platz with restricted traffic. Rooms are huge but wi-fi is spotty. Typical abundant german breakfast. Location is perfect-no more then 7-8 min walk ti any Worms highlights: Basilica, Nibelung museum, rathaus, synagogue, etc

On our trip to Italy, we made a stop over in this hotel in Worms, up to then a city unknown to us. The hotel was chosen for its central location. Both the city and the hotel were an excellent choice. The hotel was clean, the staff helpful and friendly and breakfast was top quality. A place to go back... More

Hotel is central in Worms and has secure parking. Breakfasts are good quality but no evening meals served when I stayed. Lots of local eateries nearby and friendly wherever we went. Local attractions of the town hall and numerous churches. Well preserved Jewish quarter and museum. On the side of the Rhine quite picturesque. A horse drawn carriage ride is... More
