I first met my current partner at this Restaurant and Hotel. She chose this restaurant for us to meet the first time, because of its food, atmosphere, view, and location. She made a great choice and we have been back at least four times, since. It is a very nice hotel and restaurant with a great view of the Rhein... More

With just a little work and a little polish this could be so much better. A lovely location without a doubt. A bit touristic, you certainly feel that you are sharing your lodgings with the day visitors, but this could have been avoided had we known where to park and had the staff been a little more polished. We checked... More

Beautiful, historical setting in a quiet town. Nice Rhein (river) and village view from the cliff side in restaurant and certain rooms. Delicious (continental) breakfast. Good dinner, but overpriced; as are the rooms which are to a certain extend dated. However clean, experienced an unpleasant "plumbing related" smell in the bathroom; probably incidental.

My wife and I stayed here as part of a little getaway from our family vacation while in Germany. We absolutely loved the hotel, restaurants, and castle. Food was great, views were awesome, and the staff was very friendly.

We stayed here one night in July on the recommendation of family, we had a beautiful room with views of the other surrounding castles and the Rhein. Our room was spacious, the bed was a little soft. We were lucky, the room had two windows which were perfect for creating a cross breeze in our room, so our room cooled... More

A wonderful place with an unforgettable view ,"blick" ,over the Rhein which is a dream , not really an hotel but a passage ,a gate to the german middle age and also the german romantic period .much more than a 4 stars hotel or a classic and tasteless five stars hotel. Don t hesitate!

Before we came here, everybody around me said to me, "You don't have to pay such a big money to the castle Hotel. You'd better book some other reasonable ones instead." But it deserved. Beautiful scenery, tasty meals, but most of all, we really appreciate your good hospitality.この言葉にスタッフの方、喜んでくれたようでした。

Generally delightful; booked a deluxe room with a view of the Rhine. Do note that such a room will be assigned to a Villa which is adjacent to the actual Rheinfels castle itself. Stepping into the room for the first time, I couldn't help but smile widely and that led to a "Whoaaa" when I checked out the view of... More

I stayed at this hotel for 2 days during a wedding event we were involved with. I was very excited after seeing pictures of the rooms on the website, but was disappointed once I arrived. To get to the hotel you must make approximately a 10 minute walk from Sankt Goar (about a 17% grade), or catch the tram which... More

If you're considering a unique experience on your travels through the Rhine Valley, you must stay here. The staff is friendly, the grounds are beautiful and the indoor pool is a great amenity. Breakfast the next morning far exceeded our expectations. There are numerous items to choose from including an egg bar with a chef who makes fresh omelets and... More
