We stayed here 3 nights in early September for 380 Euros, with breakfast included. Breakfast was adequate with meats, cheeses, breads, eggs, etc. The room was clean, large and comfortable. No refrigerator. Pay extra to have a balcony to view the Rhine River. The staff was great!! There is not an elevator. The Hotel is directly across the street from... More

This was our first stop on a current trip across Europe. The primary plus of this hotel is it's location on the Rhein River and the front row seat it provides for watching river traffic. That also adds some minuses such as noise from the various river craft that use the dock in front of the hotel for loading passengers.... More

We have just got back from a two night stay. First impressions not good the public area's reception and dinning room need to be attended to modernised. We paid out for a balcony overlooking the Rhine worth the extra. The room it self was very good clean and well maintained. The only thing that let it down was when we... More

A pleasant waterside hotel with superb views of the Rhein. Our room was large and tastefully furnished although the ensuite shower and toilet were compact. The buffet breakfast was as you would expect with the added extra of freshly fried eggs if you wished. On the negative side there is no lift and our room was on the third floor!!... More

we booked a premium room with balcony overlooking the Rhein. the room was large but very outdated in a number of ways, the bathroom was tiny and although clean was more of a two star B&B. The check in was smooth but there was no bar or restaurant available so we had to wander the streets looking for somewhere to... More

On arrival at this hotel we were greeted warmly by the owner, who took charge of our luggage. We were very impressed with the room especially as we were overlooking the wonderful River Rhein, from where you can watch the many boats and barges. Just opporsite is the jetty from where you can join different tours. Also the ferry runs... More

We had a room river view which is a bonus. Yes there is no lift which could be a consideration, WiFi good, breakfast more than adequate. Check-in and help with parking etc were good. Sankt Goar is a quiet little town with some nice restaurants and wine bars, a great castle but it's really it's location on the Rhein that... More

We stayed at the Hotel Rheinfels mid July. The room (first floor with a balcony) was the best part of the stay here. We were greeted upon arrival by staff that struggled with our arrangement (a reservation made many months in advance). The staff was cordial but not much more than that during our stay. The restaurant was only open... More

Selected this hotel from trip advisor reviews. No mistakes here. Possibly one of the best hotels I have stayed in ten years. Stunning. Was greeted by the friendliest person ever. Polite. Greeted my two sons with handshakes and a heartfelt hello. We had three pieces of luggage and we were helped to the room. Have never seen that before. The... More

The staff is fantastic. The view beautiful. The staff went out of their way to help us find our way around the area. Food was good. There isn't any air conditioning but the breeze off the river was all we needed. We are planning another trip and will use this hotel again.
