The location of this hotel is great, just right in front of the cruise boats dock, and the local ferry dock is a five-minute walk. It is 107 km from Frankfurt airport. It faces the Rhine with a panoramic view of the water, a good view of the St. Goarshausen, at the opposite side of the river, and the Katz... More

We stayed here for 3 nights in October. Our room was large and very clean. The best part was that it overlooked the Rhine so you had a great view of the river traffic. I'll give breakfast an "OK" since there weren't a lot of bread/rolls to choose from. The hotel has no parking, but the owner directed us to... More

There is no lift in this hotel. But the staff will take the bags upstairs, which helps big time. We had a balcony overlooking the Rhine and Burg Katz. The room was big, with a newly renovated bathroom. Breakfast was okay. And the wi-fi was really iffy. We would come back, for the location and the friendly staff.

This is a a modest but well decorated hotel (manager/owner very friendly and helpful) right on the Rhine. You can have breakfast looking out at the Rhine and a chateau. Room modern and clean. Hardest part: no elevator. Breakfast probably the biggest spread we got in 3 weeks...good bargain for the money, highly recommended

We stayed in a nice room with a view of the Rhine and a balcony. Large, clean room and nice bathroom (people saying bathroom is small have not stayed in other parts of Europe!). Staff was very nice. Breakfast was very good with lots of options. Room was very quiet even though there is a street between hotel and the... More

Booked a room with a balcony for one night in September. The view of the Rhine and Sankt Goarhausen was excellent both in the day and at night. The room was spacious and comfortable. Breakfast was simple.

We stayed here 3 nights in early September for 380 Euros, with breakfast included. Breakfast was adequate with meats, cheeses, breads, eggs, etc. The room was clean, large and comfortable. No refrigerator. Pay extra to have a balcony to view the Rhine River. The staff was great!! There is not an elevator. The Hotel is directly across the street from... More

This was our first stop on a current trip across Europe. The primary plus of this hotel is it's location on the Rhein River and the front row seat it provides for watching river traffic. That also adds some minuses such as noise from the various river craft that use the dock in front of the hotel for loading passengers.... More

We have just got back from a two night stay. First impressions not good the public area's reception and dinning room need to be attended to modernised. We paid out for a balcony overlooking the Rhine worth the extra. The room it self was very good clean and well maintained. The only thing that let it down was when we... More

A pleasant waterside hotel with superb views of the Rhein. Our room was large and tastefully furnished although the ensuite shower and toilet were compact. The buffet breakfast was as you would expect with the added extra of freshly fried eggs if you wished. On the negative side there is no lift and our room was on the third floor!!... More
