Riding a motorbike across Europe during winter, I was so relieved when GPS found this gem of a hotel. My bedroom was big enough and clean. And what a bonus with the restaurant. Not sure what I was ordering but every course was fabulous and good price too. They even helped with starting the bike next morning with freezing weather.... More

Looking for a place to sleep and eat, we found this small guesthouse in the middle of Mayen. We ate in the restaurant, unfortunately the menu was 100% german and it didn't have any photos so we had to ask. The young waiter didn't speak english while the elder one did. When discussing the hotel/restaurant You have to clearly distinguis between the hotel and the restaurant. The restaurant itself is a smash hit. Just great, but nothhing if You are an anorexic vegetarian. Sorry for that. Great big portions to fill very stomach in superiour quality. I especially enjoyed the breakfast.
