The stairway and entrance into the hotel is vey grand but that is where it stops, no lift to the floor I was on, I had to walk through a labyrinth of stairs and corridors to get to my room. The room itself wasn't bad, but on the way back down to reception I got lost and ended up in... More

We stopped off to eat on a trip and found attentive service, good menu, good and friendly service and excellent value for money. The calves' liver was perfect and my schnitzel succulent. The hotel itself seemed rather in a time-warp, but was comfortable if a little shabby

This is a hotel which advertises with elegant rooms. The enntrance to the hotel lives up to this, but when we arrived we had to go through a labyrint of stairways and corridors to arrive in a room located two buildings behind the actual hotel. This was NOT an elegant room. It was smelly, outdated, dirty, the curtain had been... More

I had a terrific stay while on business. The staff were super helpful, rooms spacious (and with river views), free and FAST internet, terrific breakfasts, prime location (on the right bank of the Rhine, opposite Bad Godesberg and about 20 mins to centre of Bonn via Tram - 3 minute walk from hotel).

We felt really lucky when we found this hotel. It is a beautiful charming and grand palace. Our room was very nice, very clean, with a balcony overlooking the Rhine. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Dinner and breakfast were excellent. Parking was on site. Free internet. Before reaching Koenigswinter, we had travelled around Europe, staying for over a... Great views and that is what you pay for. Hotel has seen better days and is has been very grand hence it's place on the Rhine however it could do with an upgrade. Staff were friendly but not much information about anything including times of breakfast! No information in the room either. We were not convinced we had the room... More

I stayed here for 3 days with my family and had a great time. On arrival we were told there was a wedding on that day so they put us up in a suite a very top for less noise !! Great people run this place and Diana and her father make you feel so welcome. The rooms are dated... More

I originally booked to stay at the Drachensfel hotel for a friends wedding nearby, however I turned up at 11:30 from the airport and they wouldn't open the door, even though I had a booking. (Don't stay at the drachensfel hotel!!!) I walked next door to the Loreley and they were super friendly, found a room (the last one) and... More

We had a double room with Rhine River View. The room was clean and tidy with shared balcony overlooking the river. The checkin Receptionist was lovely and very helpful. We ate downstairs at the Hotel's own Restaurant which was very nice. Our Hotel room however was VERY DATED and had no redeeming factors. When you see other parts of the... More
