Stayed here for one night on business. Arrived early hours of morning and receptionist was very friendly. Our floor was being refurbished at the time and was awoken with building noise at around 8am. Walls are paper thin and can hear rooms around you early morning with people leaving, hence didn't sleep too well. Breakfast was excellent on top floor... More

Happened to be visiting on business. Very nice view of the ocean and lots of good/interesting walking. The restaurant breakfast view provides a nice vista for waking up as it is on the top floor looking onto the ocean/port. Enough ship traffic to make it interesting but not so much it feels industrial. The rooms are clean. Average size. Beds... More

I booked into this hotel on recommendation and I was not disapointed. When I booked, I took the advice and asked for a room with a sea view which was worth the slight extra expense. The room was clean and tidy and what I expect to find in a Best Western. Lots of room, nice sofa in the room which... More

This is my second stay in good ol' cuxhaven. This BW property is a standard hotel but has the "best" restaurant in town for lunch and dinner. I did not partake as looking at the menu, it was quite expensive and per some of the locals, service is really slow. Staff- The hotel front desk staff was always a little... More

I was visiting the hotel as part of a business trip and it was fine. I had a small single room which was quite old fashioned, but clean and comfortable. We had a meal in the hotel restaurant which was nice, and the breakfast selection was also fine. Staff that I saw were pleasant and if I was in the... More

This hotel doesn't have a chain hotel feel to it. It seems more like a family run hotel. It's a short walk to the North Sea. There are also a few restaurants, bars, and shops a close walk from the hotel. The rooms are ok, nothing fancy and the bathroom is a bit small. Staff was helpful and friendly. Food... More

The hotel overlooks the North Sea beautifully. The rooms are large and comfortable and many have balconies. The restaurant is on the top floor with incredible views. Breakfast is also served on the top floor. The staff could not be more helpful. There is a large car park. Facilities around are good, ice cream bars, restaurants, North Sea trips (Holy... More

Neither the facade nor the room interior would have made my 5* rating. We had a double room on 5th floor with a balcony facing the shore. The hotel is not directly situated on the shore side but offered good views from our window. The room looked dated but very well maintained. A new bed-sofa, a new desk chair and... More
