We stayed here between Xmas and New Year, mainly because it was the only hotel in town available at a sensible price at that time. A pleasant surprise--old fashioned (a bit clunky and tiny rooms) but not run down and the usual excellent German breakfast and a friendly atmosphere. Centrally located on more or less the main intersection of Braunlage. more
