The hotel is a bit worn out and out of date. It was quiet on a Friday evening, as was the whole city. We did not have a view to the lake from our room, which was a small disappointment. The room itself was clean and spacey. The bed was not very comfortable, but it was ok for one night.

Dear Guest! Thank you very much for your report. As you know now, we offer more than 250 rooms in 7 different buildings. Not all of them have lake view, and of course there are differences in the room rate. You booked one of our best-price rooms, which are smaller than the regular double rooms and also have smaller matresses... More

The hotel is in front of the Tegernsee lake, with a beautiful view especially from the panorama restaurant. The hotel is really big, with rooms in two buildings. They gave me a room in the second building. The room was clean but really old style: it definitely requires some interior renewal. Similar case for the bathroom. Wifi didn't work. TV... More

Just a quick stay in Germany but oh, how this hotel made the time a delight. From the wonderful view and quiet atmosphere to the amazing included breakfast, we had a more pleasant than expected stay at this beautiful lake-side hotel.

It may have been a 4 star but needs a lot of refurbishing work to keep being attractive to stay It is a labyrinth to get to some rooms And unthinkable to have conference rooms with no windows that can be opened The rooms and bathrooms need definitely a makeover

Got a chance to stay a couple of days while attending a conference. A 45 minutes drive from Munich Airport. Heard they have 280 rooms, but did not seem from the outside. Stayed during the middle of winter, with heavy snowfall on the outside. Well kept and neat. The rooms were smaller than expected, but with a living room and... More

A1 location! Friendly, helpful sometimes a little lost staff. Breakfast buffet is out standing! Rooms and public spaces need the begun remodeling. Old carpets in rooms and elevator stink. Pools are badly dared for... We are confident in finding a big change to the better after having had a very good feedback talk with the hotel director. Good luck!

Lovely location, food good, looks and feels a little dated, but is a good traditional German hotel. Excellent base for touring in the Bavarian Alps, not far from the Austrian Border. Service and food both excellent. Can be expensive in high season (summer and winter) but outside of these times is excellent value for money.

Very interesting decor, a bit ornate combining different periods and styles. Not my taste but then again nothing wrong with it. Seats outside but not a nice sitting area even though there was a view to the lake. We stopped for tea and a wee cake about 11.30am on a Saturday morning because we were shopping in a neighbouring shop... More

Fantastic location right on the lake! Large rooms, more like suites with a friendly staff and free parking. Rooms are very "old school" 1940s decor but clean and well kept with modern bathrooms and huge walk in closets. We fit 2 adults and 2 young kids with no problem. Rooms are separated by a curtain for my 2 year old... More
