Upon entering our room all we saw was the Bodensee - sort of like an infinity edge. We had a top floor balcony and were just above the See Promenade. We so enjoyed sitting on the balcony with a bottle of wine watching the boats on the lake and people strolling below. Very good wifi connection extended to the balcony.... More

This hotel could not be better situated for spending a few days in Uberlingen. It is lakefront and is in the historical part of the city. Restaurants surround the hotel. The Seegarten has a lovely outside terrace, offers a fantastic buffet every morning, offers quality food and the prices are simply fantastic. It is a 3 star hotel but with... More

We have traveled all over the world, and this place is one of the best! Mimi and Jens (owners) are so pleasant, and anticipate all your needs. The rooms are spacious and updated to suit weary travelers. The access to the walking area (promenade) is perfect. Jens and Mimi are fabulous hosts, are well organized, and so friendly. Anything you... More

We have stayed at this wonderful hotel twice. The location is perfect, right on the lake and promenade. You can walk to many restaurants, swimming areas, shops, boat docks, etc. The hotel staff is by far the nicest, most accommodating we've met in our years of living overseas. It is very clean and has a wonderful breakfast and lovely restaurant... More

Yes, location is great but access is tricky and there's no parking to unload. Be bold and drive right through what is meant to be a car-free promenade by the lake. The young owners are great and hands-on, friendly, efficient, flexible with their room allocation and generous. Food is good, service in the restaurant again wonderful. Don't expect an early... More

We were tempted back to this hotel again after our good experience in 2009. Its a part of Germany that many British people just won't consider for a Break/Holiday--What a shame--its their loss. The Hotel has upgraded many of the bathrooms and we stayed in a newly refurbished double. It was excellent, with views over Lake Constance/ The Bodensee that... More

Getting into the hotel is a challenge if you arrive by car with some luggage. There is no parking space at the hotel. So you need to find an open space in a local garage or parking lot - or first go to the hotel to purchase a key for a private parking lot which is almost half a km... More

Hotel Seegarten was simply delightful; of course, the weather was ideal, but I can't imagine a better place to stay in this charming and historically/architecturally rich town on the shore of Lake Constance. By all means, go for one of the lake-view rooms; separated from the lake itself by just a promenade, you'll be almost close enough to the water... More

My wife and I spent three days staying at Seegarten. The hotel was recommended by one of my clients, and what a recommendation it was!! We booked one of the lakeview rooms and it was definately the right choice. We had this wonderful panorama over Lake Constance, with wonderful sunrises and magical sunsets--very romantic. The hotel is set on the... More
