Firstly we actually booked to stay at the Hotel Rauchfang which is only about half a mile from the lake. The hotel was very old style and looked a bit grubby but we were only there a night so weren't too concerned about that. We booked an en-suite room with tv, hairdryer and Wi-Fi which was necessary for us. When... More

When we arrived, the hotel, which has a good location, seemed reasonable and a nice place to stay. This was soon proved wrong, when we were shown our room. It was dirty, with mold all over the bathroom. The bed linens smelled as if they had not been changed for several months. We asked for another room. But the receptionist... More

We arrived late, they had our booking on the counter waiting for us to finish the form. They... More

Very tiny room with old furniture. Mildew infested shower. The breakfast buffet was okay. Friendly staff.

Group of 3 friends stayed 2 nights in 2 double rooms. Both rooms were clean, comfortable and spacious with balconies, TV (German only), phone, safe, hair dryer, alarm clock, ample closet space, extra bedding, mineral water upon check-in, stand-up shower with great water pressure and plenty of hot water, free parking, free breakfast. Staff was very friendly, some spoke more... More

My three critieria-cleanliness, price and location. We stayed in the "New" building-which is actually attached to the "old" building and the room was large and spotless. We got a good off season price and took advantage of their half board, which offered a good price on a four course dinner. The food was good and my husband liked their draft... More
