Hotel location is perfect in the heart of the old town. Near train station 9 minutes walking. Staff are friendly and helpful. Breakfast is perfect a lot of varieties. They need just to update their location in Google Maps as it is incorrect as I arrived at mid night and followed Google Maps and I spent some time searching for... More

Very good location for strolling around Vilingen and in a central location for this very interesting Town. Good facilities and very friendly staff . Good breakfast with plenty of choice and comfortable beds and bedrooms.

great location; the positive aspect is that it is really down-town and this is link to the negative aspect: parking far from the hotel and not cheap...breakfast very standard. price reasonable and strategic position

I've stayed at this Hotel 2 times on business, it is a wonderful place to stay. Everyone at the hotel is very pleasant, the decor is modern (although some rooms have weird angled walls), the breakfast is something I looked forward to every day (ask for the Cappuccino, they are delightful) and was included in the price, and the rooms... Friendly staff, clean, beautiful decor, shows attention to detail is on the minds of all staff members. Great location. Parking is off-site, but is only a short walk away. Breakfast was delicious with many nutritional options. :)

I hadn't expected to find a Mercure Hotel in the heart of such a small town. The hotel is on a small side street right in Villingen's pedestrian shopping area (which has great ambience on Saturdays). There are plenty of restaurants in the area as well, with friendly prices. I loved the Italiam restaurant (almost) next door to the hotel... More

I stayed at this hotel for three weeks and the only complaint I have is that I got charged for a plastic room key that was old, brittle and cracked in two places because of that. I also had someone from the hotel remove two beers that I had purchased and put in the room fridge for cooling. Location is... More

This is one of the worst hotels I've ever stayed in. There isn't any parking nearby (unless you want to pay the hotel an additional 14 Euro a night to park under the hotel and even that is limited and can't accommodate all guests. Nearest parking is far away and you have to walk. Room only had mini-bar and chargeable... More

Good location just inside old town walls but despite the 'pedestrian zone', the street noise starts at about 6 a.m. including chimes from church clock every 15 minutes. No Aircon in rooms means you need the windows open in hot weather. Breakfast reasonable but dinner (included in our package) uninspired. Friendly staff.
