Although the telephone contact with the hotel was not promising, we were happy at the hotel and had good experiences with the rest of the staff throughout our stay. We stayed at the guest house (#5), which was large and comfortable. Breakfast was small but excellent in quality and we found everything we need. A laid back and very accomodating... More

I was traveling on business, but this is an excellent hotel to come as a tourist. It is set in the old city area of Tubingen, close to the castle. The hotel is set in a couple of old buildings. If you are lucky like me and stay in the loft , it is a great experience (If you do... More

As i read good reviews in tripadvisor. I decided to stay a night in this hotel in tuebingen..i stayed in the building in front the main hotel. Concierge at the reception unattentive, almost rude. Room is gloomy, old carpet and probably dirty, dark. It's location is the only good thing. Breakfast mediocre.wi fi doesn't work.see my review os hotel krone.for me it's a... More

...next to the Castle which is situated on top of town, overlooking the rooftops, the valley with the river Necar and Österberg with the beautiful Corps Student houses. It's a challange to find ones way by car. The streets are steep, very narrow, often oneway and here and there cluttered with chairs and tables outside restaurants. Very charming, though. The... I stayed here in July for business. The rooms are nice, actually the hotel has two buildings, one is the main building, and another one is 2 Houses down the street. I stayed at the other house. The rooms are very spacious, separated toilet and shower facilities. The hotel is just a few steps away from the Tübingen Castle, from... More

Excellent location, very good rooms, delightful terrace restaurant, excellent staff and management. It is a slight challenge to get the car outside the hotel but the staff were excellent in looking out for guests and assisting with the parking. It is a very easy walk into the centre of the old town and down to the river. Breakfast was good.... More

After a somewhat challenging drive up the narrow street to the hotel, it was all good! The location is amazing, at the top of the hill next to the castle. The rooms are large and clean. The staff was efficient and friendly. I really enjoyed it there!

Am Schloss designers had a nice idea of furnishing the hotel rooms with individual reminders of various important and Tubingen-related historical personalities (Holderlin, Kepler, Hauff). This is great for romantic souls; what might appeal mostly to an average visitor, however, is the lovely view towards the south and the excellent location next to the city castle. The rooms are clean,... More

the Hotel am Schloss is a no-frills hotel right on the castle walls in Tübingen. I find the bed a bit too hard, but then you can say that about almost all hotel beds in Germany. Their breakfast is very nice with a wide selection of cold and hot foods to choose from. The rooms are small but clean. Tübingen... More
