Sitting right by the gate to old town Meersburg, the Baeren Hotel is a friendly institution, the building a recognizable landmark for 800 years. The hotel's website has pictures of each of the bedrooms, and you can choose the one you want when you book. We parked our car in a nearby garage operated by the hotel, along with all... More

The hotel is a beautiful traditional looking building, 800 years old, in the small town of Meersburg on Lake Konstanz, Germany. My husband and I stayed 2 nights in May, 2014, in the corner room # 23, overlooking the steep cobbled street that leads down to the harbour. The room itself was spacious and clean, as was the en-suite. The... More

My family and I spent one day/night in Meersburg at Baeren Hotel. I must tell you that pictures found in their site don't match the real thing. Our rooms were amazing, the sorroudings of the Hotel make you feel like in a movie, and above all the hospitality was just perfect. I wish we would have more time to stay... More

I stayed there for 3 nights, and it was a good experience. The location is well located within walking distance to the lake shore. The locked garage to keep our car safely is available from the hotel with decent price. Owner and staffs are friendly and super helpful. Breakfast is simple with not so many variety, yet all tastes good... More

Spent one night on our way to Bavaria. Couldn't have asked for a better experience. All staff were very friendly and helpful. The room was very authentic and cozy. Loved the town but best of all was the evening meal, the best salad I had in Germany! Breakfast was very good too. Thoroughly would recommend!

Really enjoyed our stay here, the owner and staff in general are very accommodating. We had reserved room 23 which had been recommended by TA’s. A really spacious, spotlessly clean and really good for viewing the cobbled streets from a privileged position. We stayed 3 nights, and ended up eating our evening meal 2 out of the 3, the food... My husband and I really enjoyed this hotel. You can see and choose your room on line. The rooms are clean and pretty. The staff are friendly and helpfull and speak English well. We also ate dinner in their restaurant and it was the best of our two week trip. Almost a year later I can still remember how good... More

Stayed in a lovely upper room in the Tower in this beautiful old hotel (room 23). There is no lift, but the antiquity of the building makes the climb worthwhile. The restaurant is excellent too, and the service was very attentive. As a final suggestion, you can buy a lovely ceramic model of this hotel (and most of the other... More

I am in love with this town and with this hotel. We had planned to stay one night but immediately loved the place. We asked if they had another night available and they said yea but we would have to change rooms. They said they would take care of the move for us and they did. Both the rooms were... More
