We stayed at the Kull von Schmidsfelden for one night in early October. The hotel is old, but that adds to its charm. Our room was clean and large and the buffet breakfast was great. Stayed in the Kull von Schmidsfelden for two nights in July. Room was basic but clean. Breakfast was really good buffet-style with a range of fresh breads, meats, cheeses etc. The owners were really helpful, offering to drive us to the station on our last morning. We were travelling to the Black Forest region to discover some ancestral family towns. Bad Herenalb was in a good location to be close to the places we we wanted to see. Our stay at the Kull wound up being an absolute delight. The staff was extremely helpful in every aspect, especially with navigating some of the lesser marked roadways.... More
